Jordan Westburg connected on his 15th home run of the season in the second inning. Before the game, Major League Baseball announced that Westburg was added to the 2024 American League All-Star team as a replacement. Adley Rutschman recorded his 29th multi-hit game of the year and Heston Kjerstad extended his hitting streak to a career-high four games.

Wednesday, July 10

The Orioles partnered with Dream On 3 to grant adopted brothers and longtime baseball fans DJ and Marshall’s dream of having a VIP experience at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

Thursday, July 11

Prior to the game, Major League Baseball announced that Anthony Santander was added to the 2024 American League All-Star team as a replacement. The addition gives the Orioles five All-Stars, their most since also sending five to the 2016 Midsummer Classic.

Friday, July 12

The Baltimore Orioles and the Maryland Food Bank kicked off the 37th Annual Food & Funds Drive, driven by AAA, at Oriole Park.

The Orioles avoided being swept on the homestand with a 6-5, walk-off victory over the Yankees, closing out the first half on a winning note and in sole possession of first place in the AL East. Cedric Mullins delivered the win with a two-out, two-RBI double in the ninth. Anthony Santander clubbed his 11th career Eutaw Street home run in the fifth inning, tying Chris Davis for the most in Oriole Park history. Gunnar Henderson launched his 28th home run of the season in the third inning, matching his total from his 2023 Rookie of the Year campaign and tying Nelson Cruz (2014) and Mark Trumbo (2016) for the third-most homers before the break in Orioles history.
