Marlins and ADT team up to welcome fans back to loanDepot park with FanFest
On Saturday, February 8, the Miami Marlins and ADT joined forces to welcome fans back to loanDepot park for FanFest, officially signaling that baseball season is right around the corner. The free fan-favorite event annually provides attendees with unparalleled access to players, alumni, and the ballpark.
Fans once again had the opportunity to take selfies with and receive autographs from the next wave of Marlins players, enjoy delicious food and drinks, participate in behind-the-scenes ballpark tours, visit a variety of activation stations, and take in an epic fireworks show. The Marlins Youth Academy also hosted three one-hour youth skills clinics on the field, featuring hands-on instruction from Marlins Manager Clayton McCullough and various Marlins players.
¡°FanFest is an amazing time, as we get to connect with our fans in a special way,¡± said McCullough. ¡°For me, it is even more special being my first FanFest as Manager of the Marlins and having my family here. We had a terrific time meeting fans, taking photos and signing autographs.¡±
In addition to giving Marlins fans of all ages a day to remember, this year¡¯s edition of the event provided a Miami-based small business with a unique platform to elevate their brand while sending attendees home with a one-of-a-kind FanFest giveaway. The Marlins and ADT worked together to bring Miami Mixed Media (who specializes in graphic design, screen printing and embroidery services for live events) out to the ballpark to create and distribute custom, screen-printed T-shirts for fans to commemorate the event.
¡°Partnering with a small business like Miami Mixed Media to create a unique activation for fans was an opportunity for ADT to give back to a community we love, and a community we¡¯re committed to keeping safe. We¡¯re going to be celebrating some iconic local businesses throughout the season at the park,¡± said ADT Chief Communications Officer Ben Tamblyn.
ADT provides small business security for Miami Mixed Media at their multiple locations throughout Miami.
McCullough and Marlins players Anthony Bender, Connor Norby, and Agustin Ramirez even made a special appearance at the activation, providing autographs to fans on their new T-shirts, which were hot off the press.
¡°It was an honor to team up with our incredible partners from ADT to deliver an extremely special FanFest to not only our fans, but also, a local business in Miami Mixed Media,¡± said Marlins Chief Commercial Officer David Oxfeld. ¡°We can¡¯t wait to welcome everyone back on Opening Day, and we look forward to continuing to make a meaningful impact at the ballpark and in the community through our partnership with ADT.¡±
