Jes¨²s Luzardo and Anthony Bender presented a check for $32,925 to the AutoNation Foundation¡¯s DRV PNK effort from funds raised during this year's Strike Out Cancer initiative. For every strikeout recorded by a Marlins pitcher during the 2024 season, $25 was donated to the program.

Along with presenting the check, the pair spent time with patients undergoing cancer treatment at Joe DiMaggio Children¡¯s Hospital.

Luzardo, who is Miami¡¯s Roberto Clemente Award nominee, and Bender also visited rooms throughout the hospital to deliver Totes for Hope comfort bags to the children.
