2025 Texas Rangers Television Schedules?for Regular Season and Spring Training Announced
Game broadcasts, as well as pregame and postgame shows, to air on Rangers Sports Network;?Spring Training radio and webcast schedule also revealed
Arlington, Texas ¡ª The Texas Rangers today announced the club¡¯s initial broadcast schedule for the first season of games airing primarily on Rangers Sports Network (RSN), which was unveiled this week as the team¡¯s new television home. The team has also revealed broadcast plans for the 33-game Spring Training schedule.
Regular Season
While many MLB television rightsholders have yet to announce their selections for 2025 national broadcasts, the Rangers¡¯ lone current game slated for an exclusive telecast is the club¡¯s road contest on Sunday, July 6 at San Diego. That game at Petco Park will be part of an ESPN Sunday Night Baseball doubleheader.
Every other Rangers game is currently slated to air on Rangers Sports Network, including 15 free over-the-air contests to be available mostly for home Friday games.
Spring Training
Rangers Sports Network is scheduled to air eight Spring Training games in March: four on RSN and four over-the-air broadcasts. The OTA telecasts will be featured on KDAF CW33 in the DFW Metroplex, as well as throughout the club¡¯s OTA network. Texas is scheduled to play 33 Spring Training games in 2025, including 31 contests in Arizona. Of the club¡¯s 33 spring games, 30 will be featured in a television broadcast, radio broadcast on the Rangers¡¯ flagship station 105.3 The FAN, or audio webcast on rangers.com.
Rangers Sports Network
Fans will have options to access the Rangers¡¯ 2025 local game TV broadcasts through traditional carriers, the Victory+ streaming service, and a package of free over-the-air games. Rangers Sports Network has reached multi-year agreements with several distributors to carry local broadcasts in the club¡¯s five-state television territory covering Texas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and parts of New Mexico.
Rangers Sports Network (RSN) is a company formed as the exclusive local television home of the Texas Rangers, overseeing production and distribution of the game broadcasts. Rangers Sports Network is available within the Rangers TV territory through select broadcast television, cable, satellite, and digital streaming platforms. RSN encompasses all aspects of game production, including the selection of on-air talent, camera and audio resources, direction of broadcast technical aspects, and behind-the-scenes staffing.
