The Angels host their second homestand of the year from April 18 ¨C April 24. The homestand will start with a three-game series against the Giants. Following the San Francisco series, the homestand will conclude with a three-game set against the Pirates. Below is a look at the notable events and ceremonies taking place at Angel Stadium over the next seven days.
STAR WARS WEEKEND
- On Friday, April 18 and Saturday, April 19 the Angels will host Star Wars Weekend at Angel Stadium. Prior to the games, fans can visit the Rose Garden for pre-game festivities featuring Star Wars characters, trivia, and more. Additionally, a variety of characters will be walking around the ballpark and interacting with fans throughout the weekend, bringing The Force to The Big A.
- LIGHT SHOW: Fans in attendance of the Friday night game on April 18 will be treated to a Star Wars postgame light show featuring 800 drones.
- FIREWORKS: Fans in attendance of the Saturday night game on April 19 will be treated to a postgame firework show driven by your SoCal Hyundai Dealers.
- GIVEAWAY: Upon entrance to the game on Saturday, April 19, the first 25,000 fans in attendance will receive a Big A & Millennium Falcon.
IN THE COMMUNITY
- On Tuesday, April 22, Garrett McDaniels will visit students at Horace Mann Elementary as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program.
- On Wednesday, April 23, Ryan Zeferjahn will visit students at Community Roots Academy as part of the Angels Adopt-A-School program.
- On Wednesday, April 23, Ron Washington, Jo Adell, and Mark Gubicza will take part in an OC GRIP event at Angel Stadium to talk with local kids about the importance of staying in school and being a good teammate.
