Colorado Rockies Announce Non-Roster Players for 2025 Spring Training

DENVER ¡ª The Colorado Rockies announced today the club¡¯s non-roster invitations to 2025 Major League Spring Training. Below is the current list of all 23 players, by position.

Of the 23 total non-roster invites, nine have joined the Rockies from different organizations: Diego Castillo (Minnesota), Tommy Doyle (Atlanta), Keston Hiura (Los Angeles-AL), Nick Martini (Cincinnati), Owen Miller (Milwaukee), Austin Nola (Kansas City), Jack O¡¯Loughlin (Athletics), Jake Woodford (Pittsburgh) and Jefry Yan (Seibu, JPEL). Yan, who posted a 1.71 ERA in 25 appearances this winter in the Dominican Winter League, is the only one of the nine without any prior Major League service time.
Two non-roster invitees wrapped up the 2024 season with Triple-A Albuquerque: Julio Carreras and Carson Palmquist.
Eight players finished the season with Double-A Hartford: Zach Agnos, Chase Dollander, Braxton Fulford, Benny Montgomery, Ronaiker Palma, Ryan Ritter, Sean Sullivan and Sterlin Thompson.
Bryant Betancourt, Kyle Karros and Cole Carrigg each concluded their 2024 campaign with the High-A Northwest League Champion Spokane Indians.
Gabriel Hughes, the Rockies¡¯ first round (10th overall) pick in the 2022 Draft out of Gonzaga, did not pitch in the 2024 regular season while recovering from Tommy John surgery, but did make six starts in the 2024 Arizona Fall League.
Dollander (No. 8) and Carrigg (No. 85) were each recently ranked in the Baseball America top 100 prospects in baseball.
Karros, the son of long-time Major Leaguer Eric Karros, was named the 2024 Northwest League Most Valuable Player.
Agnos, Dollander, Hughes, Karros, Montgomery, Palmquist, Sullivan and Veen are all scheduled to attend Rockies Fest tomorrow at Coors Field. More information on Rockies Fest can be found at rockies.com/rockiesfest.
