The Orioles today announced plans to welcome fans back to Oriole Park for the 2025 season for their Home Opener on Monday, March 31, at 3:05 p.m. ET against the Boston Red Sox. The club will host the divisional opponent to round out their first homestand on Wednesday, April 2, at 6:35 p.m. and Thursday, April 3, at 1:05 p.m. Fans can purchase tickets for the series at Orioles.com/Tickets.
Home Opener festivities will begin by 2:30 p.?m. with a special pregame ceremony emceed by Orioles broadcaster KEVIN BROWN. Home Opener celebrations will feature:
- National Anthem: Baltimore native and contestant on this season of ¡°American Idol¡± GABBY SAMONE will perform her rendition of the national anthem from the sod farm prior to the game. Samone grew up singing in the choir of New Bethel Abundant Life Ministries, a church just blocks away from Oriole Park, where she fell in love with music. Today, the pop and R&B singer takes inspiration from her Baltimore roots as she works toward her debut project.
- Flag Drop: A 30¡¯ x 42¡¯ flag from Fort McHenry will be l???owered from the batter¡¯s eye during the national anthem performance. The flag is a replica of the one that flew over Fort McHenry when Francis Scott Key wrote the Star-Spangled Banner. Fort McHenry rangers, employees, and national monument volunteers will help unfurl the American flag.
- Honor Guard: Colors will be presented by members of THE BALTIMORE CITY POLICE HONOR GUARD and BALTIMORE CITY FIRE DEPARTMENT HONOR GUARD.
- Flyover: The national anthem performance will conclude with a flyover by Maryland National Guard¡¯s 104th Fighter Squadron of the 175th Wing, a group nicknamed the ¡°Fightin' O's.¡±
- Flag Kids: Children from the YMCA of Central Maryland will line the orange carpet holding Orioles flags during the pregame ceremony.
- Mo Gaba¡¯s Fan of the Year: The Orioles will recognize JAKE STOVALL, son of the late MIKE STOVALL, as the Mo Gaba Fan of the Year. A dedicated father and husband, Mike tragically lost his life on January 29, 2025, onboard American Airlines Flight 5342 while returning from a duck hunting trip with several friends. The Charles County native coached Jake¡¯s little league baseball team and will be remembered as someone who always ¡°loved everybody.¡±
- Ceremonial ¡°Play Ball¡±: Students from the club¡¯s Adopt-A-School, Harlem Park Elementary Middle School, will yell the ceremonial ¡°Play Ball¡± prior to the game.
- Maryland Square: Fans can enjoy music from DJ MIGHTY MARK along with various photo ops and mascot appearances on Maryland Square, the plaza located outside of Gate A & C, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
- In-Game Entertainment: Orioles in-game host DENNIS T. will return for the 2025 season, along with ALYSSIA GRAVES, to engage with and hype up fans throughout the ballpark and DJ MAYBACH will provide music entertainment during the game.
- Giveaway: All fans in attendance will receive an Orioles Rally Towel.
- Berks Live Hot Dog Race: The Camden Franks return to compete against one another live at Oriole Park. Ketchup, Mustard, and Relish will race around the right field warning track and down the first base line in the middle of the fourth inning.
- Opening Day Auction: Fans will have the opportunity to bid on game-used memorabilia to benefit the Orioles Charitable Foundation. The auction is now live on Orioles.com/Auction and will run until Sunday, April 6, at 10 p.m.
The gates to Oriole Park at Camden Yards will open three hours before first pitch at 12 p.m. Parking lots will open at 11 a.m. Fans attending Opening Day are encouraged to be in their seats and fans at home are encouraged to tune to MASN by 2:30 p.m. to enjoy the Home Opener pregame festivities.

Wednesday, April 2
- National Anthem: TROY KOGER will perform his rendition of the national anthem prior to the game.
- Honor Guard: Colors will be presented by members of the UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND AIR FORCE ROTC DETACHMENT 330 HONOR GUARD.
Thursday, April 3
- National Anthem: INDIA BOONE will perform her rendition of the national anthem prior to the game. Boone, a Baltimore native, is a performing artist currently touring with ¡°Tina: The Tina Turner Musical¡± on Broadway.
- Honor Guard: Colors will be presented by members of the MORGAN STATE UNIVERSITY ROTC COLOR GUARD.
- Senior Day: The Orioles will celebrate longtime fans at Thursday¡¯s game. Fans aged 55 and up will have the chance to enjoy a pregame stroll around the warning track with the purchase of a Senior Day ticket package. - All-Stars at The Yard: The Orioles will donate 50 tickets to NEIGHBOR RIDE as part of their All-Stars at The Yard program, presented by The Good Feet Store. Neighbor Ride, an organization that provides affordable transportation services for Howard County seniors, will also be recognized by the Orioles with an in-game welcome on the scoreboard.
