The Tampa Bay Rays announced today that 30 players on Minor League contracts have been invited to Major League Spring Training in 2025.

The following is a positional list of the non-roster invites joining the Rays in Port Charlotte, Florida:

RIGHT-HANDED PITCHERS (13): Garrett Acton, Alex Cook, Michael Flynn, Joey Gerber, Paul Gervase, Jonathan Hern¨¢ndez, Joey Krehbiel, Ben Peoples, Austin Vernon, Cole Wilcox, Nathan Wiles, Logan Workman and Alfredo Zarraga

LEFT-HANDED PITCHERS (2): Keyshawn Askew and Jake Brentz

CATCHERS (3): Ricardo Genov¨¦s, Dominic Keegan and Kenny Piper

INFIELDERS (8): Gregory Barrios, Xavier Issac, Coco Montes, Tre¡¯ Morgan, Tanner Murray, Bob Seymour, Brayden Taylor and Carson Williams

OUTFIELDERS (4): Matthew Etzel, Eloy Jim¨¦nez, Tristan Peters and Chandler Simpson

Of the 30 players invited to camp, seven have Major League service time: Garrett Acton (Oakland), Jake Brentz (Kansas City), Joey Gerber (Seattle), Jonathan Hern¨¢ndez (Texas and Seattle), Joey Krehbiel (Arizona, Baltimore, Tampa Bay), Eloy Jim¨¦nez (Chicago-AL and Baltimore) and Coco Montes (Colorado).

Rays pitchers and catchers are scheduled to report on Wednesday, February 12, while position players are scheduled to report on Monday, February 17. The first full-squad workout is scheduled to take place on Monday, February 17.
