Jeremy Sanders Assistant Director, Minor League Operations (Coord, Minor League & Intl. Operations)

Hamilton Marx enters his 11th year with the Rays organization, recently promoted to Vice President, Baseball Process & Strategy. Over the past several seasons, Marx has been one of the critical pieces in the team¡¯s amateur process as well as taking the lead in player arbitration efforts. Over that time, he has become a respected and trusted member of the front office, working closely with the Rays scouts, player development staff, major league staff, the research and development team as well as baseball operations leadership. With his promotion he will maintain his prior duties on the amateur side and lead efforts to consolidate, stress-test and structure organizational pro player information.

Simon Rosenbaum enters his seventh season with the Rays, and transitions to Director, Baseball Development. After six years in player development, Rosenbaum will take on a wider range of projects while remaining connected to his former position. As part of this new role, he will be more involved in staff and organizational development and help implement processes for growth and improve decision-making within baseball operations.

Rachel Heacock enters her fifth year with the Rays organization, transitioning from a Development Research Analyst to Assistant Director, Staff Development & Research. This role will focus on growing staff development programs across the Baseball Operations department. Heacock will continue coordinating the Team Assistance Program, support sleep-related initiatives for players and conduct research in mental performance.

Tyler Chamberlain-Simon enters his 11th year with the Rays, and transitions to Director, Baseball Process and Strategy for the 2025 season. In this new role, Chamberlain-Simon will aid in the improvement of player evaluations and player acquisition decision-making processes in the Baseball Process & Strategy department, while continuing to help lead the Pro Personnel & Pro Scouting department. His efforts to leverage information across different departments will support the collaborative approach of the player acquisition process.

Emmie Dolfi enters her fifth year with the Rays and transitions to Director, Baseball Research & Development this year. In her new position, she leads research initiatives aimed at advancing player evaluation methodologies and identifying the key skills and performance metrics that contribute to sustained success and future value. Dolfi also oversees the development and management of the research and development team, ensuring optimal productivity, fostering staff growth and enhancing overall team performance through targeted development initiatives.

Jason Pellettiere enters his seventh season with the organization and first following his promotion to Director, Baseball Analytics. In his new role, he manages and improves player evaluation models, vets information in advance of major transactions and works collaboratively with front office leadership. Pellettiere will continue to provide research and development support to the major league staff, including in-game strategy and analytics information, while assisting in oversight of the research and development staff.

Luke Fair enters his sixth season with the Rays and first as the Director, Baseball Systems Applications. In this role, Fair oversees the development and maintenance of software systems that support baseball operations, ensuring they meet the needs of players, scouts, analysts and executives. This role also involves managing a team of developers, as well as collaborating across the front office and clubhouse, to deliver innovative applications that contribute to on-field success.

Tyler Wall enters his 17th season with the Rays and first as Director, Major League Equipment & Clubhouse Operations. In this role, Wall focuses on managing and maintaining a unique clubhouse environment to ensure readiness to support players and coaches alike. He is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of the entire clubhouse operation including staffing, product ordering, budget management and the support of overall logistics of the major league club.

Jeremy Sanders enters his eighth season with the Rays and first as Assistant Director, Minor League Operations. In this role, Sanders oversees work visa procurement for the players and staff throughout the major and minor league teams ensuring compliance with international travel requirements. Sanders also contributes to the production of the annual minor league budget, manages the financial relationship with the team¡¯s minor league affiliate clubs and helps to manage the Player Development staff's travel and finances. He also serves as a resource on the Minor League Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Player Development Licenses that govern the organization¡¯s relationships with the minor league affiliate clubs.
