BOSTON ¨C Prior to today¡¯s series finale at Boston, the Chicago White Sox made the following three roster moves:
- Selected Contract from Class AAA Charlotte (1): INF Bobby Dalbec;
- Placed on 10-Day Injured List (1): INF Chase Meidroth (right thumb inflammation);
- Transferred to 60-Day Injured List (1): LHP Mart¨ªn P¨¦rez.
Dalbec, 29, is hitting .326/.354/.696 (15-46) with three doubles, one triple, four home runs and 13 RBI with Charlotte this season after signing a minor-league contract with the White Sox on January 7. He will wear uniform No. 31.
Dalbec, 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, is a .222/.290/.425 career hitter with 37 doubles, 47 homers and 142 RBI in 331 games over parts of five major-league seasons with Boston (2020-24). He originally was selected by the Red Sox in the fourth round of the 2016 First-Year Player Draft.
Meidroth, 23, is batting .269/.387/.269 (7-26) with a RBI, four runs scored, five walks and one stolen base over nine games with Chicago in 2025. He made his major-league debut on April 11 vs. Boston, going 1-2 with three walks.
P¨¦rez, 34, was placed on the 15-day injured list on Saturday with left elbow inflammation after leaving the game on Friday in the fourth inning.
Following the moves, the White Sox 40-man roster remains at 40.
