White Sox makes five roster moves

GLENDALE, Ariz. ¨C Prior to today¡¯s spring training game at San Francisco, the Chicago White Sox made the following five roster moves:

• Optioned to Class AAA Charlotte (2): LHP Jake Eder and RHP Jairo Iriarte;
• Optioned to Class AA Birmingham (1): RHP Wikelman Gonz¨¢lez;
• Reassigned to minor-league camp (2): LHPs Noah Schultz and Hagen Smith.

With the moves, the White Sox have 66 players remaining in camp: 31 pitchers, six catchers, 18 infielders and 11 outfielders.
