Rangers announce 2025 TV broadcast crew
ARLINGTON -- As the Rangers continue to roll out the newly announced Rangers Sports Network (RSN), the club announced its TV broadcasters for 2025 during an event at Globe Life Field on Wednesday afternoon.
The lineup of Rangers broadcasters includes Dave Raymond (play-by-play), Mike Bacsik (color analyst), David Murphy (color analyst), Emily Jones (field reporter) and Jared Sandler (pregame and postgame host) all returning for 2025.
New additions include Laura Stickells, who will join Jones as the primary field reporter, and former Rangers infielder Elvis Andrus, who will appear as the pregame and postgame analyst for about 40 games.
Andrus formally retired as a Ranger in September following a 15-year MLB playing career. He is the Rangers¡¯ all-time leader with 305 stolen bases and remains the all-time franchise postseason leader in games (42), hits (46) and stolen bases (nine). Andrus played 2,059 career games with the Rangers (2009-20), Athletics (2021-22) and White Sox (2022-23).
¡°I love to talk,¡± Andrus joked. ¡°I love to have fun. So for me, it was always important being able to [get along with] the media. I love to interact with the media, because the media is the bridge to the fans. So I think the media, especially now being on this side, you can understand how important it is and how well everybody's been doing their job through the years.
¡°I've been talking to quite a few guys, especially Barry Larkin recently. He said to always make sure to remember how hard it is to play the game. He said, ¡®That's the only advice I'm gonna give you.¡¯ That's the only thing that I will keep reminding myself of, because it's true. I think sometimes when you stop playing the game, you forget a little bit how hard it is to play. So long as I can maintain that, I¡¯ll have fun.¡±
Stickells joins the broadcast as the primary field reporter, while Jones -- the Rangers¡¯ longtime field reporter -- plans to reduce her number of games. Stickells joins the Rangers after four years of radio and television work in the Boston area. She served as a reporter and host on NESN¡¯s broadcasts for the Triple-A Worcester Red Sox in 2024. She also did college hockey coverage for NESN and ESPN+.
Earlier this week, the club announced the Rangers Sports Network, which will produce and distribute games and other content for 2025 and beyond. RSN gives fans a number of different options to access the broadcasts, including traditional means, the Victory+ app and a package of free over-the-air games.
Rangers Sports Network will carry 30-minute pregame and postgame shows hosted primarily by Sandler. The shows will be simulcast on the club¡¯s radio partner Audacy¡¯s 105.3 The FAN (KRLD-FM).
RSN has partnered with several traditional cable and digital television providers, including DirecTV, DIRECTV STREAM, AT&T Uverse and Spectrum. Each provider will have a specific channel to house the Rangers Sports Network.
Additionally, fans in the Rangers¡¯ television territory will be able to purchase a season pass to watch all Rangers games and select Spring Training games on Victory+ for just $100.
¡°In conversations with [Rangers majority owner Ray Davis], Ray had the vision and said, ¡®We don't want to be in somebody else's boardroom. We need to control our own destiny.¡¯¡± said chairman of the new Rangers Entertainment and Media Company Neil Leibman. ¡°By doing this, the added benefit is that all of our fans can get to watch the games. Now everybody can watch the Rangers¡¯ games.¡±
