Team to watch
Triple-A Worcester features the best position prospect in baseball in Anthony, who raked there at the end of last season and homered twice in his second game of 2025. Mayer gives the WooSox a second elite talent, while Dobbins was Boston's 2024 Minor League pitcher of the year after leading the system with a 3.08 ERA.

Players we could see in MLB in 2025
Anthony and Mayer should join their buddy Campbell at Fenway Park sometime this year, giving the Red Sox three rookies with All-Star upside. Dobbins may be ready in the second half if Boston needs another starter. Guerrero permitted just one unearned run in 10 relief appearances in the big leagues last September, thanks to his upper-90s fastball and upper-80s splitter.
New faces
Tolle (second round) and Clarke (fifth), both 2024 draftees, will make their pro debuts with Class A clubs. Cason, last year's eighth-rounder, also will get his first taste of pro ball after spending some time in extended spring training as the Red Sox figure out how to handle his simultaneous development as both a right-hander and a shortstop. Soto and Delzine, the prizes of Boston's 2025 international crop, will break into the pro game in the Rookie-level Dominican Summer League in June.
On the shelf
Perales, the system's top pitching prospect, will miss the entire season after having Tommy John surgery last July. Bleis will miss the start of the season at High-A Greenville with a minor quadriceps injury. Garcia still is recovering from surgery to repair a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee last May.
