MINNEAPOLIS-ST. PAUL, MN ¨C The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have returned infielder Brooks Lee from his rehab assignment and reinstated him from the 10-day Injured List.
Lee missed the Twins¡¯ first 15 games of the season with a lumbar strain. He appeared in four games on rehab assignment with Low-A Fort Myers and Triple-A St. Paul, going a combined 3-for-13 (.231) with one walk. The 24-year-old made his major league debut on July 3, 2024 and hit .221 (38-for-172) with six doubles, one triple, three home runs, 27 RBI, 11 walks, three stolen bases, nine runs scored and a .585 OPS in 50 games for Minnesota last season.
To make room for Lee on the 26-man roster, the Twins have optioned infielder Jose Miranda to Triple-A St. Paul. Miranda has played in 12 games for Minnesota this season, hitting .167 (6-for-36) with one home run, five RBI and two runs scored.
