Here's the 2025 Spring Breakout schedule
Mark your calendars. Spring Breakout is back.
The official dates and times of this year¡¯s Spring Training prospect showcase were announced by Major League Baseball on Thursday. The Red Sox and Rays will begin this year¡¯s edition on Thursday, March 13, in Port Charlotte, Fla., and the Reds and Brewers will close it out in Maryvale, Az., three days later.
Spring Breakout started last year as a means of bringing Minor League talent over to Major League fields across both Spring Training states. It did not disappoint, highlighted by the early matchup of eventual National League Rookie of the Year Paul Skenes and then-No. 1 overall prospect Jackson Holliday.
Similar prospect battles should come to both Arizona and Florida in just under two months. Official dates, game times and links to ticket information can be found below:

THURSDAY, MARCH 13
Red Sox at Rays, 7:05 p.m. ET
Spring Breakout kicks off with four of the top 10 players on MLB Pipeline¡¯s Top 100 Prospects list: OF Roman Anthony (No. 3/BOS No. 1), SS Marcelo Mayer (No. 7/BOS No. 2) and INF/OF Kristian Campbell (No. 10/BOS No. 3) of the Red Sox, plus SS Carson Williams (No. 4/TB No. 1) of the Rays. Tickets ?
Cubs at Dodgers, 9:05 p.m. ET
The Cubs not only feature an MLB-high seven Top 100 prospects, headlined by INF Matt Shaw (No. 22/CHC No. 1) and OF Owen Caissie (No. 34/CHC No. 2), but they also traded two of the Dodgers¡¯ best (LHP Jackson Ferris, OF Zyhir Hope) in last year¡¯s Michael Busch deal. Tickets ?
FRIDAY, MARCH 14
Cardinals at Marlins, 12:10 p.m. ET
The Battle of Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium could prove to be a pitchers' duel with Top 100 prospects Thomas White (No. 46/MIA No. 1), Noble Meyer (No. 69/MIA No. 2), Tink Hence (No. 61/STL No. 2) and Quinn Mathews (No. 77/STL No. 3) all options for both sides. Then again, Top 100 hitters JJ Wetherholt (No. 18/STL No. 1), Starlyn Caba (No. 81/MIA No. 3) and Agustin Ramirez (No. 96/MIA No. 4) could have something to say about that in their first Spring Trainings with their respective organizations. Pirates at Phillies, 1:05 p.m. ET
This could feature two of the best pitching prospects in the game facing off in the Phillies¡¯ Andrew Painter (No. 32/PHI No. 2) and Bubba Chandler (No. 15/PIT No. 1) of the Pirates, and they could face elite hitting prospects like Aidan Miller (No. 26/PHI No. 1) and Justin Crawford (No. 53/PHI No. 3) for the Phils and Konnor Griffin (No. 50/PIT No. 2) and Termarr Johnson (No. 75/PIT No. 3) for the Buccos. Nationals at Astros, 2:05 p.m. ET
Picked up from the Cubs in the Kyle Tucker blockbuster, Cam Smith (No. 73/HOU No. 1) will try to make a big impression in his new Astros colors, but he¡¯ll have his work cut out for him with hard-throwing righties Travis Sykora (No. 79/WSH No. 2) and Jarlin Susana (No. 90/WSH No. 4) serving as options on the bump for the Nats. Talk about some serious offensive firepower here. Both organizations boast a quintet of Top 100 bats, with Colt Emerson (No. 27/SEA No. 1) and Cole Young (No. 38/SEA No. 2) leading the Mariners contingent and Travis Bazzana (No. 12/CLE No. 1) and Chase DeLauter (No. 41/CLE No. 2) atop the Guardians¡¯ group. Royals at D-backs, 8:10 p.m. ET
We know Jac Caglianone (No. 17/KC No. 1) will be focused on hitting only in 2025 in order to get to Kansas City as quickly as possible, and this exhibition will be a perfect spot for him to combine with Blake Mitchell (No. 51/KC No. 2) and Carter Jensen (KC No. 5) on a potential laser show in the desert. On the other side, Jordan Lawlar (No. 9/AZ No. 1) was a Spring Breakout standout a year ago and will get a chance to demonstrate his health after missing much of 2024 due to thumb and hamstring injuries. SATURDAY, MARCH 15
Twins at Blue Jays, 1:07 p.m. ET
Head to Dunedin to see how 2024 Blue Jays first-rounder Trey Yesavage (No. 94/TOR No. 1) fares against bats like Walker Jenkins (No. 2/MIN No. 1), Emmanuel Rodriguez (No. 29/MIN No. 2) and Luke Keaschall (No. 63/MIN No. 3) while Toronto shortstop Arjun Nimmala (TOR No. 5) will get his second chance to stand out at a Spring Breakout game, this time against the Twins¡¯ deep cadre of pitchers. Yankees at Orioles, 6:05 p.m. ET
This game features three elite prospects in 3B/1B Coby Mayo (No. 8/BAL No. 1) and C/1B Samuel Basallo (No. 13/BAL No. 2) on the Orioles and Yankees OF Jasson Dom¨ªnguez (No. 14/NYY No. 1), not to mention several other interesting outfielders in recent first-round picks Enrique Bradfield Jr. (BAL No. 4) and Vance Honeycutt (BAL No. 3) plus Spencer Jones (NYY No. 2). The Cubs¡¯ septet of Top 100 prospects gets a second Spring Breakout spotlight, this time against the Angels, who will get to feature 2024 first-rounder Christian Moore (No. 71/LAA No. 2) as well as former Futures Gamer Caden Dana (No. 68/LAA No. 1) and a 2024 trade acquisition, flame-thrower George Klassen (LAA No. 3). Tigers at Braves, 4:05 p.m. ET
North Port will be buzzing with the chance to see young Braves arms like 2024 first-round pick Cam Caminiti (No. 92/ATL No. 1), AJ Smith-Shawver (No. 97/ATL No. 2) and Hurston Waldrep (ATL No. 3) try to find ways to get Max Clark (No. 6/DET No. 2), Kevin McGonigle (No. 31/DET No. 3), 2024 first-rounder Bryce Rainer (No. 56/DET No. 4) and Jace Jung (No. 62/DET No. 5) out. They may have posted the worst records in their respective leagues last year but both clubs have plenty of prospects, with the Rockies led by 2024 No. 3 overall pick Charlie Condon (No. 11/COL No. 1) and the White Sox featuring the game¡¯s two best lefty pitching prospects in Noah Schultz (No. 16/CWS No. 1) and Hagen Smith (No. 30/CWS No. 3). This might be the matchup of explosive fastballs with 2024 first-rounder Chase Burns (No. 21/CIN No. 1) and 6-foot-7 righty Jacob Misiorowski (No. 80/MIL No. 3) serving as pitching options for the two NL Central sides. Keep an eye out for Milwaukee wunderkind Jesus Made (MIL No. 4), who could appear here before heading to Single-A at just 17 years old. Tickets ?
