The Texas Rangers Youth Academy today announced its rosters for the 2025 All-Star Commissioner¡¯s Cup and Jennie Finch Classic.
The pair of annual tournaments feature baseball and softball teams comprised of Major League Youth Academy athletes from all over the continental United States and Puerto Rico. Both contests will be hosted this summer in Atlanta in conjunction with the 2025 Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Truist Park on July 15.
The Rangers¡¯ 17U Baseball squad will be seeking to defend its title after securing its first-ever Commissioner¡¯s Cup championship last summer as part of the 2024 All-Star Week festivities held in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
¡°Capturing the Academy¡¯s first Commissioner¡¯s Cup championship here at home last year was a massive step for our baseball program,¡± said Rangers Senior Director of Youth Academy & Baseball Development Juan Garciga. ¡°We¡¯ve established ourselves as a championship-caliber operation, and I¡¯m confident in our baseball and softball teams¡¯ ability to compete at the highest level again this year.¡±
