Torkelson is putting the finishing touches on what has been a stellar first professional season, clubbing his third home run in as many games with a two-run shot Sunday. The 22-year-old¡¯s home run, a towering blast to left field, was his 29th of the season and 10th since joining Toledo. Cruz is wasting no time getting himself acclimated with Indianapolis. In the 22-year-old¡¯s fourth game at Triple-A, he recorded two hits, one being a home run, and three walks. This was the fourth three-walk game of Cruz¡¯s career and his second of the season. Cruz has been finding his power stroke over the past couple days, clubbing five home runs in his past eight games. Royals: MJ Melendez, C (MLB No. 68), Triple-A Omaha
Salvador P¨¦rez isn¡¯t the only catcher in the Royals organization with 40 home runs this year as Melendez clubbed long balls No. 40 and No. 41 on Sunday. Melendez¡¯s first home run of the afternoon was a mammoth opposite-field blast that cleared Werner Park¡¯s left-field bleachers and landed on the adjacent concourse. It was Melendez¡¯s sixth multihomer game this season and second since joining Omaha. Along with the homers, the 22-year-old is slashing .284/.384/.627 with 97 RBIs across 119 games. Brewers: Victor Castaneda, RHP (No. 30), Triple-A Nashville
Castaneda put together a promising start in his second outing with Nashville, pitching 5 1/3 scoreless innings of one-hit ball with six strikeouts. Castaneda was locked in from the jump, retiring the first 11 batters he faced before allowing a two-out walk in the fourth inning. That free pass was Castaneda¡¯s only walk of the evening, his eighth start this season in which he¡¯s allowed one walk or fewer. Brewers prospect stats ?

Twins: Jose Miranda, INF (No. 8), Triple-A St. Paul
Miranda recorded his second three-hit game in the past five days, smacking a double and two singles en route to driving in three runs and extending his hitting streak to five games. The 23-year-old kicked off St. Paul¡¯s 11-run evening with a two-run single in the bottom of the second inning, then chipped in another run with a double in the seventh. This marks Miranda¡¯s 20th game of the season in which he¡¯s had at least three hits. Miranda has had a breakout season, slashing .342/.400/.568 on the season with 29 homers and 92 RBIs. Yankees: Oswaldo Cabrera, 2B (No. 16), Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre
Since joining Scranton/Wilkes-Barre earlier this week, Cabrera has been in some kind of zone. Cabrera went 2-for-3 with a homer Sunday, having hit safely in all five games since joining the RailRiders. Not only is Cabrera racking up the hits, but he¡¯s flexing his power, already clubbing three home runs with his new team. On the season as a whole, Cabrera is slashing .265/.322/.520 with 27 homers and 21 steals.
