What is Spring Breakout?

The second edition will be held from March 13-16 at Grapefruit and Cactus League stadiums during Spring Training. When is the Twins¡¯ game?
Twins prospects will take on a team of Blue Jays prospects on Saturday, March 15, at 12:07 p.m. CT in Dunedin, Fla.
Which position players are expected to play?
The Twins¡¯ hitting contingent is led by a newly crowned Top 100 prospect, infielder Luke Keaschall. The team¡¯s No. 3 prospect and No. 60 overall, Keaschall has an advanced bat and enjoyed a breakout season last year. He¡¯ll be joined by two more members of the club¡¯s Top 10, infielders Kaelen Culpepper (No. 4) and Brandon Winokur (No. 7). Other names to look out for include infielders Billy Amick (No. 14) and Rayne Doncon (No. 15).
Which pitching prospects are expected to play?
The top-ranked pitching prospect on the roster is No. 22 Travis Adams, who is coming off of a solid season at Double-A Wichita. Other intriguing names include righties Kyle Bischoff, who racked up big K rates across three levels last year, Michael Martinez, who put up nice numbers at High-A in the Dodgers' system in 2024, and Jason Doktorczyk, a 2024 draftee who has yet to appear in a regular-season professional game.
Why are certain prospects not listed on the roster?
Unfortunately, the Twins¡¯ top two prospects are both dealing with ankle injuries. Walker Jenkins will miss Spring Breakout due to injury for the second straight year, and Emmanuel Rodriguez is unavailable as well. No. 5 prospect, left-hander Connor Prielipp is being handled very carefully as he enters his first full professional season. And No. 6, righty Marco Raya, was recently scratched due to a quad injury and is making his way back from that.
