Team to watch
While Spokane leads the way with nine Top 30 prospects on its Opening Day roster, the choice here is Fresno. That¡¯s largely because 2020 first-round pick Zac Veen is there among seven total Top 30 prospects, and he¡¯s joined by fellow 2020 draftees Drew Romo and Sam Weatherly.

New faces
The Rockies got three Top 30 prospects from the Cardinals in return for Nolan Arenado in February. Elehuris Montero is the lone player in the Rockies¡¯ Top 10 and he¡¯ll begin the year with Double-A Hartford, while Tony Locey and Mateo Gil will be on the aforementioned Fresno roster.
On the shelf
Carreras continues to work his way back from a left shoulder injury that required surgery. He¡¯s sticking back in extended spring training for the time being to get some additional at-bats before heading out, likely to Fresno, in a couple of weeks.
