INJURY UPDATES
RHP Drew Thorpe
Injury: Residual inflammation from Sept. 7 surgery to shave down bone spur in right elbow
Expected return: April
Status: Thorpe has now thrown two side sessions as part of a three-week block of these assignments. If all goes well, he will move on to live BPs at that point. (Updated Feb. 22)
RHP Prelander Berroa
Injury: Right elbow discomfort.
Expected return: Being further evaluated
Status: Berroa left the Feb. 22 Cactus League opener against the Cubs in the fourth inning and was replaced by Garrett Schoenle. Berroa will be further evaluated, including imaging. (Updated Feb. 22)
3B Bryan Ramos
Injury: Elbow soreness
Expected return: He continues working
Status: Ramos is hitting and taking ground balls. The only thing he has yet to add on is throwing. (Updated Feb. 22)

Feb. 21
? RHP Mike Clevinger: Agreed to a Minor League deal and received a non-roster invite to Spring Training. This is ClevingerĄ¯s third straight year with the team, and he could be used in a leverage relief role this time around.
Feb. 13
? OF/1B Joey Gallo: Agreed to a Minor League deal and received a non-roster invite to Spring Training. The powerful left-handed hitter will be viewed primarily as a first baseman.
Feb. 12
? OF Michael A. Taylor: Agreed to a one-year contract at $1.95 million. The right-handed hitter brings strong outfield defense into the fold.
Feb. 11
? RHP Steven Wilson: Cleared waivers and outrighted to Triple-A Charlotte. His non-roster invite raises the total to 69 players in White Sox camp.

? LHP Brandon Eisert: Claimed off waivers from Rays. RHP Steven Wilson was designated for assignment to make room on the 40-man roster.
? INF Brandon Drury and INF Tristan Gray: Agreed to terms with White Sox on Minor League contracts. They also received non-roster invites to Spring Training.
