There are new player and staff facilities, most of which were constructed during the 2024-25 offseason and are housed in a new structure located between the first-base side of the stadium and Field 2. The remodeled, relocated and expanded areas include the weight room, medical and training facilities, female locker room, indoor/outdoor dining area and family lounge.

Additionally, there are new player and staff multi-purpose meeting rooms, a new dedicated clubhouse kitchen and new offices to accommodate members of the baseball operations department. The visiting clubhouse was completely renovated this offseason in advance of the Rays¡¯ use of Steinbrenner Field as their home facility in 2025, due to hurricane damage at Tropicana Field.

When is the club¡¯s last home game?

The Yanks¡¯ final spring game at Steinbrenner Field is on March 23, against the Rays at 1:05 p.m. ET. After that game, they will turn the building¡¯s keys over to the Rays (with the exception of the fourth-floor offices, which will still be used by Yankees ownership).

Otherwise, the Yanks will be considered visitors at Steinbrenner Field throughout the 2025 season. For example, when they return in April for a four-game series against the Rays, they will dress in the visitors¡¯ clubhouse and utilize the visiting dugout.
