Carlos Obed Baerga...wife's name is Miriam...the couple has a daughter, Karla (9/19/91), and a son, Carlos (9/5/95) and reside in Bayamon, PR...annually sponsors the "Carlos Baerga Celebrity Softball Game" to help raise money for several children's charities in the U.S. and Puerto Rico...graduated from Barbara Ann Rooshart High in Rio Piedras, PR.

Led the Nationals with 13 pinch-hits. ... Despite being a part time player, Baerga had four-game-winning hits. The most recent came on Aug 18 in a 5-4 victory over the Phillies.
