Chad Edward Moeller...wife, Nicole...a graduate of Upton (CA) High School, lettered in football and baseball and was highschool teammates of Geoff Jenkins, Jacque Jones, Morgan Ensberg and Randy Flores...was drafted by the Yankees out of high school, but did not sign...studied economics and played baseball at the University of Southern California...in 1996, as a junior, was an All-Pac 10 selection.
2010
Began the season with Baltimore before being released by the organization out of Spring Training...was signed by the Yankees on 4/6...selected to the Major League roster on 5/20...spent over a month in the Majors with the Yankees before being designated on 6/21...was again seslected to the Major League roster for September and spent the remainder of the season with the big league club...Played in just 9 games in his over two months of service time with New York...his .214 (3-for-14)...all 3 hits were doubles...Batted .230 (20-for-87) with 6 doubles, 1 home run and 9 RBI in 28 games for Triple-1 Scranton/Wilkers-Barre.

2004
Was Mil's Opening Day starting catcher...hit safely in his first 6g as a Brewer, his longest hitting streak of the season...on 4/27 vs Cin became the fifth Brewers player to hit for the cycle and the first to do it in Milwaukee...hit .291 in June...on 6/29 at Col hit his first career grand slam (off Shawn Estes)...ranked second among all National League catchers with a .999 fielding percentage (1e, 765tc)...Brewers pitchers posted a 3.67era when he caught.
2003
One of the Brewers' best hitters the first half of the season, batted .309 in 57 apps prior to the All-Star break...began the season sharing the catching duties with Rod Barajas...following an injury to Barajas a week into the season hit .339 (5 2b, 3hr) over his next 16 starts as the everyday catcher...from 4/20-4/29 put together what at the time was a career-best hitting streak...after Barajas returned on 4/28 appeared in just 9 of the club's next 25g, including just 8 starts...made 21 apps after the break, including 16 starts, and hit .118 over the second half...on 7/11 vs SF tied the club record with 3 doubles.
2002
During the pennant race hit .432 in his last 16g of the season...in the final game of the season started to catch former Class AAA batterymate John Patterson and helped the Diamondbacks earn home field advantage in the National League Division Series...in that finale went 4-for-4 with a double, 2 homers, 6rbi and 3 runs scored...was his first career 4-hit and multi-homer game, while the 6rbi tied Steve Finley and Luis Gonzalez for the second-best single-game total in franchise history (Erubiel Durazo, 9rbi, 5/17/02)...began the season on Ari's roster but on 4/9 was designated for assignment without appearing in a game...was outrighted to Class AAA Tucson and hit .318 in 60g there before he was promoted for the rest of the season on 7/15, following an injury to Damian Miller...the next day caught Randy Johnson...caught Johnson's final 17 starts, a span during which he went 12-2...while at Tucson put together a 10-game hitting streak from 5/30-6/14 (.452)...was selected to play in the Triple-A All-Star game but was unable to participate following minor foot surgery...was Ari's Minor League Player of the Month for June (.329, 5hr, 24rbi)...appeared in all 3 of the NL Division Series games vs the Cardinals...started the post-season opening game and went 1-for-3...pinch hit in each of the last 2g.
2001
Three days before Opening Day was traded from the Twins to the Diamondbacks...began the season with Ari's Class AAA affiliate in Tucson...was promoted on 6/6 and stayed with the D'Backs until he returned to Tucson on 7/16...finished the year in the minor leagues before he was recalled again in September, when rosters expanded...on 6/20 at LA produced his first RBI of the season on a suicide squeeze bunt that scored David Dellucci...on 9/27 vs Mil hit his second career home run, a solo shot off Ruben Quevedo.
2000
In his Major League debut made 48 apps for the Twins...began the season at Salt Lake in his first action at Class AAA...on 6/20 at Tex was recalled and made his big league debut...on 6/22 at Tex singled off Matt Perisho for his first career hit...on 7/29 at NYY recorded his first ML home run, an inside-the-parker off Ramiro Mendoza...from 8/13-8/29 was on Min's DL with a torn meniscus and ligament damage in his right knee.
1999
Spent the season with Min's Class AA affiliate in New Britain...following the season led the prestigious Arizona Fall League in hitting while playing for Grand Canyon.
1998
Began the season at Class A Fort Myers and hit .327 in 66 apps there before he was promoted to Class AA New Britain...was selected to play in the Florida State League All-Star Game and was an FSL post-season All-Star...was the organization's Minor League Player of the Week for 5/1-5/7.
