Opened with triple-A Oklahoma City in the Texas Rangers organization after singing as a minor league free agent on January 12...Appeared in only eight games for the RedHawks, giong 0-1 with an 8.53 ERA before being released on May 1.

2008

In 2008, appeared in just eight games for Milwaukee, going 0-1 with a 15.63 ERA with one save...was designated for assignment on May 2 and outrighted to triple-A Nashville on May 9. Made six starts for Sounds, all 2.0 innings by design...went 2-1 with a 13.00 ERA (9.0 IP/13 ER) in 12 relief appearances and 0-1 with an 8.00 ERA (9.0 IP/8 ER) as a starter...placed on the Disabled List on July 17...July 28 MRI revealed slight undersurface tear of his right rotator cuff...missed remainder of the season undergoing rehab program.

Began fifth professional season and second with Anaheim organization at double-A Arkansas, after spending 2000 campaighn with Angels...Posted no record and 2.57 ERA (14 IP - 4 ER) in starts with Travelers...Allowed 12 hits and five walks while striking out 11...Suffered non-displaced fracture of ulna bone in right forearm, April 19, and was initially placed in brace...Injury occurred while pitching for Arkansas against Tulsa Drillers...Went five innings and allowed one run on three hits and one walk with three strikeouts before injuring arm on 59th pitch of game...Left game with score tied, 1-1, and Travelers went on to post 9-6 victory...Placed on disabled list, April 20...Underwent surgery, May 9 at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, CA, at which time pins were inserted into right forearm...The surgery was performed by Dr. Robert Chander...Underwent surgery to remove pins from forearm, Oct. 30, at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, CA...This procedure was also performed by Dr. Chandler...Is expected to make full recovery and be ready for spring training.
