In his first and only season with the Rangers organization, Eli spent the entire campaign at Triple-A Round Rock, hitting .187 (42-for-225) with six doubles, five home runs and 25 RBI in 67 games during an injury-plagued season ... Went 1-for-4 with a home run and a season-high three RBI on June 16 at Oklahoma City ... Posted a season-best, six-game hitting streak, June 16-23 … batted .318 (7-for-22) with a home run and five RBI ... His .278 average (10-for-36) in 10 August games was a monthly-best during the season ... Logged nearly identical averages against left and right-handed hurlers, batting .186 (13-for-70) against southpaws and .187 (29-for-155) against righties ...
