Had four stints with the Red Sox (5/9-5/19, 6/11, 7/5-7/9 and 7/19-8/1)...Went 0-0 with a 6.35 ERA in 7 relief appearances with Boston...Made his Major League debut on 5/12 vs. Toronto (1ip, 2h, 2r, 2er, 1bb, 0k)...Went 5-1 with a 2.75 ERA and 1 save in 34 relief appearances at Triple-A Pawtucket...International League batters hit just .187 off him.....had 59 strikeouts in just 52.1 innings...Was claimed off waivers by Milwaukee on 9/13...Pitched for Team Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic (6g, 0-0, 4.76era)...Following the season pitched for Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League.

2012

Spent the 1st half of the year in the Indians minor league system before being acquired by the Red Sox in exchange for Brent Lillibridge on 7/24. Combined to go 9-1 with a 2.80 ERA (23 ER/74.0 IP) in 46 games (1 start) for Double-A Akron, Triple-A Columbus, and Triple-A Pawtucket...Averaged 9.0 strikeouts per 9.0 innings (74 SO/74.0 IP). Of his 46 appearances between all 3 clubs, 34 were scoreless (74%). Began the season at Akron and made 2 scoreless appearances (5.0 IP)...Allowed just 1 hit in 3.0 innings of relief to earn the win in his season debut, 4/5 at Binghamton. Was transferred to Columbus on 4/10. Allowed 4 runs in 3.1 innings between his 1st 2 appearances for Columbus, and followed with 5 scoreless appearances (7.1 IP). Was transferred back to Akron on 5/2. In a span of 6 consecutive appearances from 5/31-6/16, earned 4 wins and recorded 2 saves...Recorded wins in each of the first 4 games and saves in the last 2 appearances...Had a 1.86 ERA (2 ER/9.2 IP) with 11 strikeouts over that stretch. Posted a 1.32 ERA (2 ER/13.2 IP) over his final 9 appearances for Akron. Acquired by the Red Sox on 7/24 and was assigned to Pawtucket...Each of his 1st 4 appearances for the PawSox were scoreless (4.1 IP)...Posted a 0.93 ERA (1 ER/9.2 IP) over his 1st 7 games. Went 2-2 with a 2.96 ERA (8 ER/24.1 IP) in 19 appearances for Criollos de Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League following the season. 2011

Spent the majority of the season with Triple-A Buffalo in the Mets minor league system where he posted a 0.89 ERA (2 ER/20.1 IP) in 15 games. Began the season with Buffalo and posted a 1.42 ERA (2 ER/12.2 IP) over his 1st 10 appearances. Had 2 stints on the DL, 5/20-7/14 with a right shoulder strain, and 7/25-8/25 with a right shoulder impingement...While on the DL the 1st time, made 5 rehab appearances for the Rookie-level Gulf Coast League Mets and 2 for Short-A Brooklyn. Held opponents to a .194 AVG (14-for-72) with Buffalo, which included a .188 (9-for-48) mark against righties and a .208 (5-for-24) against lefties...With runners in scoring position, held opponents to a .125 AVG (3-for-24). Opened winter ball with 11 consecutive scoreless appearances (14.2 IP) and held opponents to a .087 AVG (4-for-46) for Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League...Overall went 1-2 with 1 save and a 3.43 ERA (8 ER/21.0 IP) in 17 games.

2010

Combined to go 3-2 with 3 saves and a 2.69 ERA (21 ER/70.1 IP) in 51 games between Double-A Binghamton and Triple-A Buffalo. Began season with Binghamton and allowed only 1 run in 15.2 innings over his 1st 9 appearances (0.57 ERA)...Made 8 straight scoreless appearances (14.0 IP) after allowing a run in his season debut, 4/10 vs. Akron. Was transferred to Buffalo on 5/19. Allowed runs in 5 of his 1st 9 games for Buffalo (5.02 ERA, 8 ER/14/1 IP)...Ended the year allowing runs in just 5 of his 27 appearances and posted a 2.12 ERA (8 ER/34.0 IP) in those games. Between both clubs, held opponents to a .206 AVG (52-for-253). Struck out 80 batters in 70.1 innings between both teams (10.24 SO/9.0 IP). Pitched for Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League after the season.

2009

Went 6-5 with 5 saves and a 2.73 ERA (21 ER/69.1 IP) in 44 games for High-A St Lucie and Double-A Binghamton. Started the year at St. Lucie...Had a 5.28 ERA (9 ER/15.1 IP) with 11 strikeouts through his 1st 13 games and a 1.14 ERA (3 ER/23.2 IP) with 23 strikeouts over his final 13 appearances. Pitched more than 1.0 inning in half of his 26 games for St. Lucie...Threw 2.0 or more innings 10 times. Was transferred to Binghamton on 7/11. Averaged 10.98 K's per 9.0 IP (37 SO/30.1 IP) for Binghamton...Recorded at least 1 strikeout in 17 of his 18 tilt. Pitched for Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League after the season.

Missed the entire season due to injury.

2007

Spent the entire season with High-A St. Lucie. Began the year in the starting rotation and went 2-5 with a 5.75 ERA (23 ER/36.0 IP) in 8 starts. Moved into St. Lucie's bullpen in late June and went 2-2 with 8 saves and 2.84 ERA (8 ER/25.1 IP) in 19 games. Converted 6 of his 7 save chances and posted a 1.98 ERA (3 ER/13.2 IP) over his final 10 appearances of the season...Earned the win in the lone blown save, 8/9 at Sarasota. Had a 2.70 ERA (11 ER/36.2 IP) in 16 home games compared to a 7.30 ERA (20 ER/24.2 IP) in 11 road games.
