Went 0-for-4 in his ML debut, a start at first base on 9/6 vs. TB...At 22 years, 346 days old, became the youngest Red Sox to appear at the position since Cecil Cooper at 22 years, 289 days old on 10/4/72 at DET. Reached base safely in 10 of 15 Big League games with a plate appearance. Notched 1st ML hit on 9/8 vs. TB, a single off Matt Garza in the 4th inning...Collected 1st RBI later in that game with a run-scoring single in the 7th. Combined to hit .274 (129-for-471) with 37 doubles, 3 triples, 15 home runs, 69 RBI and 62 runs scored in 130 games between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Pawtucket...Ranked 5th among all Sox farmhands in homers.
