2012

Entered the season as the ninth-best prospect in the Angels organization according to Baseball America. Began the season at Double-A Arkansas, where he went 6-6 with a 2.99 ERA in 19 starts. Held Texas League opponents to a .222 batting average with 111 strikeouts in 114.1 innings. Was selected to the All-Star Futures Game. Was traded to Milwaukee, along with SS Jean Segura and RHP Johnny Hellweg, in exchange for RHP Zack Greinke on 7/27. Was assigned to Double-A Huntsville, where he went 0-2 with a 7.24 ERA in 7 starts. Pitched for Licey in the Dominican Winter League.

2011

Named Angels' ninth best prospect for 2012 by Baseball America...Spent majority of season with Inland Empire where he registered a 10-6 record with one complete game and a 4.45 ERA (151.2 IP - 75 ER) in 27 starts for the 66'ers...Led the club in starts, strikeouts and complete games...Earned California League Pitcher of the Week honors for the week of July 11th...Made one start at Salt Lake, allowing one run through four innings while failing to record a decision.

2010

In 2010, began season with Cedar Rapids, going 7-5 with one complete game and a 3.76 ERA (103 IP - 43 ER) in 18 starts for the Kernels...Promoted to Rancho Cucamonga where he posted an 0-1 record with an 8.71 ERA (10.1 IP - 10 ER) in three starts.
