Attended DeWitt Clinton (Bronx, NY) High School¡graduated in 2006 and went undrafted...Played for two seasons (2006, '07) in the amateur La Caribe Baseball League...Played for Western Oklahoma Junior College in 2008¡ had one of the best seasons in JC history, hitting .465 with 37 home runs and 102 RBI¡scouts and members of the media called him "Mystery Guy" while he was at WOJC because no one had any reports on him.
2014
Made six separate appearances with the Giants throughout the season, bouncing up and down between the big league club and triple-A Fresno...Batted .170 (17-for-100) with the Giants while hitting .316 (56-for-177) with 13 doubles, seven home runs and 25 RBI in 48 games at triple-A Fresno...Started 21 games with SF, starting 12 in center field, eight in left field, and one in right field...His highlight of the season was a game-winning two-run home run at Cincinnati on June 4...Hit .348 (48-for-138) against right-handed pitchers, but just .205 (8-for-39) against lefties with the Grizzlies.
2013
Was called up to the big leagues twice, his first action in the Majors. Hit .258 (23-for-89) with one home run and eight RBI in 34 games for SF. Started 24 games (15 in center field and nine in left field). Recorded eight outfield assists, which was tied for the second-most among rookies in the NL...accumulated his eight outfield assists in just 218.0 defensive innings. Made his first Major League start on June 9 at Arizona, starting in center field...crashed into the wall making a spectacular catch, as he robbed Paul Goldschmidt of extra bases on a running, lunging catch near the wall in rightcenter field in the 1st inning...bruised his left rib cage on the play and was later removed for a pinch-hitter in the 7th. Recorded four outfield assists in his first seven games in a Giants' uniform...the last outfielder to record four outfield assists in his first seven career games was Ken Landreaux of the California Angels in 1977 (Stats Inc.). Recorded his first big league hit in his second career plate appearance on June 9 off LHP Tyler Skaggs. Went a combined 6-for-11 in three games playing in front of friends and family in New York (Sept. 19-22)...attended DeWitt Clinton High in the Bronx. Hit his first career home run on Sept. 27 off San Diego's RHP Burch Smith. Hit .291 (111-for-382) with 27 doubles, 10 HRs and 50 RBI in 101 games for triple-A Fresno. Had a two home run game on April 14 at Tucson with the Grizzlies. Was named the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week for May 13-20, as he hit .522 (12-for-23) with three doubles, two HRs and seven RBI.

Named the Flying Squirrels' Most Valuable Player
after hitting .302 (146-for-483) with 26 doubles, 11 home runs, 53 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 126 games...Narrowly edged Gary Brown (45) for tops on the team with 46 multiple-hit games...Hit safely in 18-consecutive games from July 25-Aug. 14, the second longest streak in the Eastern League...Finished eighth in the league batting race (.302) and became the first Flying Squirrel to ever hit over .300 while
having enough plate appearances to qualify among league leaders...His 13 outfield assists ranked as the second most in the circuit...Led Richmond in total bases (213), while tying Brown for the most extra-base hits (41)...tied for the team lead in home runs with Johnny Monell (11)...Was added to the Giants' 40-man roster in November.
2011
Spent entire campaign with double-A Richmond, batting .256 (117-for-457) with 25 2Bs, 10 3Bs and 22 SBs in 131 games. ... Led Eastern League with 10 triples. ... Set career-high by going 5-for-5 with 2B, 3B, two RBI, and two runs scored on May 15 vs. Harrisburg. ... Played in Dominican Winter League after season and ranked second in league with 10 2Bs and 13 stolen bases, he also ranked ninth in avg. (.290).
