Full name is Travis Richard Shaw...He and his wife, Lindy, have a daughter named Ryann...His father, Jeff, was a two-time NL All-Star (1998, 2001) over a 12-year ML career...In 2008, graduated from Washington Senior High School in Washington Court House, Ohio...Hit .321 (196-for-610) with 36 HR and 143 RBI in 173 games in his three seasons at Kent State University (2009-11)...Was named to the All-MAC First Team in 2011 and Second Team in 2010...Was inducted to Kent State's Varsity "K" Hall of Fame on 10/9/21.
