Single … has one son: Adrian. ? Attended Advanced Central College and Advanced Central College High School in Carolina, Puerto Rico. ? Was selected by Philadelphia in the 46th round of the 2008 First-Year Player Draft but did not sign.

2016

Appeared in 33 games with Class AAA Iowa in the Cubs organization, going 1-3 with a 5.14 ERA (28 ER/49.0 IP) and 55 strikeouts.  Averaged 10.1 strikeouts per 9.0 IP.  Opened the season in the Cleveland organization before being designated for assignment on 4/3 … was traded by the Indians to the Cubs in exchange for cash considerations on 4/11.  His contract was purchased by the Cubs on 10/3 and was designated for assignment on 10/22.  Was claimed off waivers by Oakland on 10/26 and claimed by the White Sox from the A's on 11/7.  Appeared in nine games with Carolina in the Puerto Rican Winter League, going 4-3 with a 2.05 ERA (11 ER/48.1 IP).

2015

Made his debut at the Major League level in September after seven Minor League seasons...Spent the entire Minor League season at AAA Columbus, posting a mark of 2-1 with 2 saves and a 2.68 ERA in 46 games/1 start (53.2IP, 35H, 16ER, 29BB, 51K, .187avg, 1HR)...He limited right-handed batters to a .162 (18-111) average against while left-handed Triple-A hitters batted .224 (17-76) off him with no home runs allowed... Did not allow a run over his last 9 games beginning on August 12 (8.2IP, 4H, 0R, 4BB, 6K)...Was promoted to Cleveland on September 4 and made his MLB debut against the team that drafted him on Sept. 5 at Detroit (1 pitch, 0.1IP, 0H, 0R, ground out to first base)…Worked season/career-long 1.1 scoreless innings in his 2nd Major League outing of Sept. 8 at CWS…All 6 of his Major League outings were scoreless thus far as lefties are 2-for-9 (2 singles, 0 walks, .444 OPS)…faced just one hitter in 3 of his 6 outings...Faced four right-handed hitters and allowed one single... Appeared in 8 games/2 starts for Carolina in the PRWL this winter (2.55 ERA, 17.2IP, 18H, 5ER, 9BB, 8SO).

2012

Spent entire season at AA Akron where he went 6-9 with a 3.93ERA in 22 starts (2CG, 121.1IP, 111H, 53ER, 49BB, 100K, .247AVG)...His two CG were tied for 2nd in the Eastern League...Tossed 9.0IP no-hitter on July 15 vs. Altoona, 2nd no-hitter in Aero franchise history (0H, 1R/0ER, 3BB, 6K, 104P)...Had a 3.41 ERA in his last 5 starts starting with the no-hitter (29.0IP, 22H, 11ER, 19K, .208AVG)...Lefites hit .265 off him and RHH batted .240 (80-333, .676OPS)... Season ended on August 7 upon reaching innings threshold...Combined ERA in the first 3.0 innings of starts was 2.32 (66.0IP, 52H, 17ER)...Batters hit .227 (44-194) off him with runners on base...Worked in relief in the Puerto Rican Winter League for Carolina where batters were 4-for-48 (.083) off him and ERA was 1.17 (11 games, 15.1IP, 4H, 2ER, 8BB, 19K).

2011

Missed time due to left-elbow inflammation...Was on DL from 6/6-8/23 with nerve irritation in elbow...Rehabbed at the Arizona rookie league club in August...Pitched in relief in the PR Winter League for Carolina...Went 3-0 w/a 2.03 ERA in 6 May starts (31.0IP, 25H, 7ER, 34K) and had a 3.02 ERA prior to the injury.

2010

Led the Midwest League in shutouts (2), was T1st in complete games (2) and 4th in ERA (2.93)... Named to Midwest League All-Star team.

2009

Named "Tiger of the Year" in rookie debut for the Gulf Coast League Tigers.
