Claimed off waivers from Tampa Bay on 8/20...Did not earn a decision in any of his six starts with the Orioles last season; however, the O’s went 5-1 as a team when he pitched...Was a non-roster invite to Tampa Bay Rays Spring Training in 2021.

2020

Released by the Cardinals on May 27 and was not part of a 60-man player pool…went 1-0 with a 2.35 ERA (23-IP, 6-ER) and 24 SO in five apps (four starts) for the Gigantes del Cibao in the Dominican Winter League.

2019

Made the Royals Opening Day roster and made his major league debut with a scoreless 9th inning of a 6-3 loss on March 31 vs. CWS…designated for assignment after the game and returned to the Cardinals organization, where he spent the rest of the season with Triple-A Memphis.

2018

Split the season between Memphis (AAA) and Springfield (AA), combining to go 10-4 with a 3.93 ERA (58 ER in 132.2 IP) and 124 strikeouts, compared to 37 walks…his 10 combined victories tied for secondmost among Cardinals' minor league hurlers, while his strikeout total ranked third...Named to the Texas League All-Star Game, however he didn't appear in the game after being promoted to Triple-A on June 10... Matched a career high with 10 strikeouts over 5.1 innings in a relief appearance vs. Corpus Christi on May 31…it marked his second career double-digit strikeout performance and first since 2015...Won his first six decisions of the year, through July 7, which included going 4-0 in his 15 appearances at Springfield…first loss of the year came in a 1-0 setback at Omaha on July 14, in which he allowed one run on five hits over 7.0 innings...Suffered consecutive losses on Aug. 1 vs. Sacramento (6 ER) and Aug. 6 vs. Fresno (8 ER), which accounted for 14 of his 33 total earned runs allowed with Memphis (42.4 percent)…did not surrender a run over his final five appearances (three starts) of the year (18.2 IP)
