Advanced to Triple-A Syracuse for the first time in his career...Rranked third in the International League and third in Washington's system with a 3.15 ERA... His 133 strikeouts were tied for the most among Nationals farmhands and tied for fifth in the International League...Also ranked among qualified International League pitchers in fewest hits per nine innings (1st, 7.91), fewest home runs per nine innings (3rd, 0.63), strikeouts per nine innings (3rd, 7.62) and walks/hits per innings pitched (5th, 1.24)...Matched a career-high with seven wins...Following the season, went 3-2 with a 5.16 ERA in seven games for the Glendale Desert Dogs of the Arizona Fall League.

2015

Named Washington's Minor League Pitcher of the Year after leading all Nationals farmhands with 148 strikeouts and ranking third in the organization with a 2.92 ERA...His 148 strikeouts ranked second in all of Double-A and were tied for ninth in all of Minor League Baseball...He led the Eastern League in strikeouts (148), strikeouts per nine innings (8.47) and strikeout-to-walk ratio (3.70)...He also ranked among league leaders in hits per nine innings (2nd, 7.67), WHIP (5th, 1.11), home runs per nine innings (5th, 0.57), and ERA (8th, 2.92).

2014

Went a combined 7-7 with a 2.77 ERA in 24 starts between three levels of the Nationals' chain...Led all Nationals Minor Leaguers with 133 strikeouts and his 2.77 ERA was good for second in the system...Garnered Carolina League Pitcher of the Week honors in back-to-back weeks (7/14 and 7/21)... Was named a South Atlantic League mid-season All-Star after going 4-3 with a 2.45 ERA for Hagerstown.

2013

Power right-hander saw action at three levels of the Nationals' Minor League system following his selection in the draft...Struck out at least 10 batters in his final two starts for Auburn before his promotion to Single-A Hagerstown.
