Spent most of the 2017 season with the Tigers, appearing in a career-high 55 games ... Made 12 appearances with Triple A Toledo in May and had a 1-1 record with a 2.38 ERA (11.1IP/3ER) and 13 strikeouts ... Recorded a career-high three strikeouts on July 14 vs. Toronto ... Posted 17 consecutive scoreless appearances from July 1-August 8, a streak that stretched 13.1 innings ... 2016

Split the 2016 season between the Philadelphia Phillies and Kansas City Royals organizations... Made the Phillies Opening Day roster, marking the first time he has made an Opening Day roster at the major league level... Made his major league debut on April 7 at Cincinnati, allowing three runs on a hit with two walks in three batters faced... Placed on restricted list from April 14-July 10... Began an injury rehabilitation assignment with Single A Clearwater on June 24 -- made seven injury rehab appearances between Clearwater, Double A Reading and Triple A Lehigh Valley and had a 1-0 record with a 6.48 ERA (8.1IP/6ER) and five strikeouts... Recorded the first strikeout of his major league career on July 21 vs. Miami, striking out Christian Yelich in the eighth inning... Had his contract designated for assignment on July 22 -- was returned to the Royals on July 25 and optioned to Double A Northwest Arkansas... Did not allow a run in his first five appearances with Northwest Arkansas from July 26-August 7, a stretch that spanned 8.1 innings... Named the Texas League Pitcher of the Week for the week ending August 7 -- made three relief outings during the week and had a 1-0 record with one save, a 0.00 ERA (6.1IP/0ER) and seven strikeouts... Spent the entire season with Northwest Arkansas (AA)...Finished third among all Texas League relievers in SO/9.0 IP (9.58) and lowest opponent's AVG (.211)...LHH batted .167 (18-108) against him with four XBH...Posted a 1.85 ERA (5 ER, 24.1 IP) with 25 SO over his final 16 games, lowering his season ERA from 4.47 to 3.57

2014

Spent the entire season with Wilmington (A)...Started his first eight games, striking out 42 and walking nine in 38.2 IP...Struck out a career-high nine batters in 4.1 IP, 4/27 vs Myrtle Beach...Was moved to the bullpen on 5/26; went 2-1 with a 3.31 ERA (13 ER, 35.1 IP) in 24 relief appearances...Was on the 7-day DL, 7/7-13 (left thigh contusion)

2013
