His father, José, took him to baseball practice three days a week and Nabil just played as a hobby...Moved to the Dominican Republic when he was 15 for an opportunity to play baseball competitively...in 2021, Nabil’s father, mother, and brothers came to watch him play in the United States for the first time...Looked up to fellow Colombian pitcher, Jose Quintana...Played for Team Colombia in the 2017 World Baseball Classic...Lives in Florida with his wife, Maria, and baby daughter, Nicole...Crismatt was born on Christmas Day, 1994...His favorite food is Arabian food, marmahon. 2023

Began the season with the Padres organization before being signed as a free agent by Arizona on June 30. In seven appearances for San Diego, fired a 0-1 record with a 9.82 ERA (12 ER/11.0 IP) with nine strikeouts against seven walks. Made one relief outing for Arizona, tossed two scoreless innings while giving up two hits and an unearned run while striking out three. Appeared in nine games for Triple-A El Paso, going 0-0 with a 6.94 ERA (9 ER/11.2 IP) while holding batters to a .261 average … made 14 outings for Triple-A Reno (nine starts) with a 4-3 record and a 6.85 ERA (36 ER/47.1 IP) with 44 strikeouts against 18 walks. Had his best month in September with Triple-A Reno, going 3-1 with a 6.75 ERA (17 ER/22.2 IP) in five starts … did not give up more than three earned runs in his eight combines Major League appearances … tossed a season-high seven strikeouts in his Sept. 23 start with Triple-A Reno against Las Vegas in 5.1 innings

After pitching 8 years and 167 games in the minor leagues, made his MLB debut in the 2nd game of the Aug. 17 doubleheader at CHC and threw a scoreless inning... Did not allow a run in his first four appearances (4.1 IP) allowing one hit and one walk (intentional)... Pitched on consecutive days twice... Did not allow a hit with RISP (0-5, BB)... Threw a season-high 3.0 innings at MIL on Sept. 15, helping the Cardinals preserve pitching in an 18-3 loss... Stranded two inherited runners... Was not on STL's Wild Card Series roster vs. SD.

2019

Named a Texas League Mid-Season All-Star. Threw a scoreless inning (2nd) with a walk and two strikeouts for the North squad... Led the Texas League with two complete games and one shutout...Struck out a career-high 14 batters in a 9.0-inning (95 pitches) shutout vs. Northwest Arkansas (7/10) earning Texas League Pitcher of the Week...Had two starts of double-digit strikeouts, tied with Dustin May (Tulsa) for the most by a Texas League pitcher with 14 and the 3rd-most with a 13-strikeout effort vs. Tulsa (5/9) needing only 77 pitches...Surpassed 100 pitches only once during the regular season in a 7.0-inning effort at Tulsa (6/7).

Combined for 27 starts between Binghamton (AA) and Las Vegas (AAA), going 11-10 with a 5.00 ERA and 140 strikeouts in 144.0 innings...Named an Eastern League Mid-Season All-Star...Led all Mets minor league pitchers with 11 wins and ranked in the Top 5 in games started (27, 2nd), innings pitched (144.0, 3rd) and strikeouts (140, 4th)...Hurled two scoreless starts of 6.0 innings or more and another three in which he allowed just one unearned run...Threw 11 quality starts and had 12 games in which he threw 6.0 innings or more with a season-high 8.0 innings at Trenton (6/21).

Posted career-highs in strikeouts (142) and innings pitched (145.2) pitching the entire season for St. Lucie (A) in the Florida State League...Led the Florida State League with 142 strikeouts. Ranked among the league leaders in ERA (3.95, 10th), innings pitched (145.2, 3rd), games started (25, T4th), opponent BA (.278, 9th) and WHIP (1.35, 8th)...Struck out a season-high 13 batters in his lone complete game effort of the season coming vs. Jupiter (6/13). Threw 102 pitches in a 3-2 loss...Posted two double-digit strikeout games with 13 vs. Jupiter and 11 vs. Dunedin (5/19)...Pitched for Team Colombia in the 2017 World Baseball Classic making one start against the Dominican Republic (3/12). Received a no decision in a game Colombia lost 10-3 in 11 innings.

Pitched for three different teams climbing the Mets organizational ladder at Brooklyn (A), Columbia (A) and Binghamton (AA) combining for a 1-4 record with a 2.47 ERA over 65.2 innings with 74 strikeouts...Posted three double-digit strikeout games out of his eight starts with a season-high 11 vs. Aberdeen (7/23)...Made seven starts and six relief appearances posting an 0.88 WHIP.

2015

Appeared in 12 games, making eight starts for Kingsport...Tied for the team lead with six wins...Began the season with four relief appearances before finishing with eight straight starts. Had made 66 straight relief appearances over four seasons before his first minor league start...Ranked among Appalachian League leaders in wins (6, T2nd), strikeouts (63, 3rd), innings pitched (62.0, 5th) and ERA (2.90, 7th)...Held his opposition to two earned runs or less in 11 of 12 appearances, allowing a season-high five runs in his final start of the season at Elizabethton (8/28) surrendering three home runs in the game.

Averaged over a strikeout per inning (10.60 K/9 IP) in his first professional season State-side with the Gulf Coast League Mets going 1-1 with a 2.25 ERA over 19 relief appearances.
