Was 1-1 with a 7.13 ERA in 18 appearances, making two starts, combined between Memphis, Springfield and the Florida Complex League (R)... Was on the Cardinals 40-player roster for the entire season, but did not pitch above Memphis (AAA)... Placed on the 60-day Injured List from Aug. 11-Sept. 11, due to a COVID-19 outbreak on the Springfield Cardinals... His two starts came in the FCL, his first two appearances of the season, beginning on July 3, and pitched a scoreless inning in each start... Suffered a right lat strain and missed time on the 7-day Injured List from May 4-July 11, including an injury rehabilitation assignment at the Florida Complex League from July 3-10... Pitched out of the bullpen once re-joining Springfield and then Memphis, making 16 relief appearances... Did not pitch more than 2.1 innings in any appearance (2.1 IP at Northwest Arkansas, 9/14) in which he threw a season-high 42 pitches.

Made his Major League debut with the Miami Marlins vs. PHI (9/12), pitching a scoreless inning retiring all three batters faced...Was one of 18 pitchers to make his Major League debut with the Marlins in 2020, an MLB record for debuts in a single-season...Recorded his first strikeout vs. BOS (9/15), striking out former Cardinal Yairo Mu?oz swinging in the 9th inning...Allowed three runs on four hits in his third and final appearance, coming on a three-run home run by Rafael Devers, and did not appear the rest of the 2020 season...Was claimed off waivers by the Phillies (10/30) following the postseason.

2020 POSTSEASON: Was not on the Marlins postseason roster and did not travel with the team.
