2023

Spent the season at Triple-A Sacramento (Giants) and went 1-3 with a 4.10 ERA and three saves in 43 games (1 start)...struck out 53 batters in 41.2 innings...Signed as a free agent with Milwaukee on 11/3.

2020

Made his third career Opening Day roster and went 1-2 with a 10.03 ERA (13er, 11.2ip) and four saves in 15 games before his season ended in mid-September with inflammation in his right elbow...Allowed seven homers in 11.2 innings...allowed four total homers last year in 52.2 innings...After entering the year with just one save in his career he started 2020 as the Giants' closer, converting his first four save opportunities over his first five outings...Endured the worst stretch of his career over three games from August 14-17, allowing a total of 11 earned runs on seven hits, including five home runs...Matched his career-high with five runs allowed (third time) on Aug. 14 vs. Oakland...with the Giants holding a 7-2 lead in the 9th inning, Gott gave up a pair of homers, including a game-tying grand slam to Stephen Piscotty...Was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 13 with right elbow inflammation.

2019

Had one of the best seasons of his career before a right arm injury shut him down in late August and all of September...went 7-0 with a 4.44 ERA (26er, 52.2ip) in a career-high 50 relief appearances in what was his first year with the Giants... Tied for the sixth-most wins among all NL relievers... His seven relief wins were most by a Giants reliever since Jean Machi registered seven in 2014... Allowed just seven of 35 inherited runners to score (20.0%), the fourth-lowest figure among NL relievers behind Arizona's Andrew Chafin (11.3%), St. Louis' Giovanny Gallegos (15.9%) and New York's-NL Luis Avilan (18.2%)... Recorded the highest strikeout-to-walk ratio of his career (3.4 K/BB) and the lowest BB/9IP rate of his career (2.9)...his 9.7 K/9 rate was also a career-best... Made his second consecutive Opening Day roster (first with SF)...made the Nationals OD roster in 2018... Made his Giants debut March 29 at San Diego and allowed a run on three hits in 1.2 innings... Placed on the 10-day IL on May 25 with a right forearm strain...missed a total of nine games before being reinstated on June 5... 2017

Spent the majority of the 2017 season with Triple-A Syracuse...Enjoyed two Major League stints in 2017...Went 4-for-4 in save opportunities while with Triple-A Syracuse...Surrendered just two home runs in 37.1 innings pitched.

2016

In his first season in Washington's system, began the season at Triple-A Syracuse but also spent time with the GCL Nationals and short-season Single-A Auburn...Went 3-4 with a 4.57 ERA in 35 Minor League games between the three stops...Was recalled on Sept. 2 for first MLB assignment of season... Allowed an earned run in his second appearance (9/7 vs. ATL)...After Sept. 12, recorded a 0.00 ERA (4.1 IP), four strikeouts, one walk and four hits in seven appearances...Did not allow a baserunner in his final two appearances (1.0 IP)...Earned a hold on Oct. 2 vs. MIA (0.2 IP).
