TEXAS // Had contract purchased from Frisco on 8/21 after Matt Bush suffered a knee sprain the previous day…only outing in 1st stint was ML debut on 8/22 at LAA, when he became 1st pitcher in TEX history to allow 3+ UER in a debut...surrendered a 3-run HR to Albert Pujols following an error that extended the inning…rejoined the club as a September call up on 9/3 and allowed 5 R-ER over 7.1 IP during 2nd stint…permitted runs in 4 of 12 appearances overall…whiffed 3 of 40 BF, but opponents swung and missed on 25.3% of pitches.
FRISCO // Spent balance of season with Frisco, going 1-2 with 6 saves, 2.21 ERA (9 ER/36.2 IP) in 33 relief appearances… compiled a career-best 13.01 SO/9 at the minor league level… surrendered just 2 HR in 36.2 IP (0.5 HR/9)…had a 3.18 ERA (2 ER/5.2 IP) over 1st 6 outings before residing on the disabled from 4/21-5/30 with a right elbow strain…compiled a 2.25 ERA (7 ER/28.0 IP) with 40 strikeouts over 24 outings after return from the disabled list and prior to 1st stint with Texas…retired all 9 BF in final 3 outings with the 'Riders.

Did not join High Desert until 5/20, but recorded a team-high 7 saves in his 1st season working exclusively in a relief role…opponents batted just .198 (39-197), including .159 (18-113) by right-handed hitters…stranded 12 of 15 inherited runners and held opponents to a .189 average (7-37) with RISP… converted all 3 save chances in the postseason.
2015
Logged the 3rd-most innings on the Hickory staff…was 2-1, 2.70 (4 ER/13.1 IP) as a reliever and 4-7, 4.57 (42 ER/82.2 IP) as a starter…left-handed batters hit .312 (53-170), while opponents batted .293 (111-379) overall…started season in the bullpen, but joined rotation on 5/11 for the remainder of the season…placed on disabled list 8/28 with right shoulder strain for the remainder of the season.

Tied for the Spokane club lead with 7 victories, tied for 3rd in the Northwest League…went 5-2 with a 6.45 ERA (27 ER/37.2 IP) over first 9 starts and 1-1 with a 2.41 ERA (9 ER/33.2 IP) over final 6 outings…earned NWL Pitcher of the Week honors twice in August (8/4-10 and 8/18- 24).
