Grew up an Auburn fan in McCalla, Alabama... Is the grandson of Norm Zauchin, who played six seasons in the Majors with the Red Sox (1951, 55-57) and Senators (1958-59)... Is married to his wife, Ashley, together they have a son named Beckham.

Split the season between Oakland and Las Vegas (AAA)...Made 10 relief outings in the Majors.

Made his Major League debut with Colorado and was 0-1 with a 7.50 ERA and .791 opponents OPS over six stints....Held the opposition to a .239 batting average but allowed a .388 on-base percentage....Struck out 23 batters in 18.0 innings (11.50 per nine innings) but also walked 15 (7.50 per nine innings)....Yielded a .190 (8-for-42) batting average and .690 OPS to right-handed hitters compared to .320 (8-for-25) with a .951 OPS against left-handers…surrendered both of his home runs to righties....Opponents hit .370 with runners in scoring position…were 4-for-4 with three walks and a grand slam with the bases loaded....Allowed 9-of-14 (64.3%) inherited runners to score and first batters faced were 5-for-11 (.455) with four walks (.600 on-base percentage)....Compiled a 14.73 ERA and .998 OPS in seven day games, a 2.53 ERA and .611 OPS in eight night games....Yielded a .128 batting average with two strikes....Tossed more than one inning in eight of his 15 appearances....Spent the balance of the season with Triple-A Albuquerque where he was 1-2 with a career-high tying 12 saves and a .671 opponents OPS in 32 relief appearances....Converted 12-of-14 (85.7%) save opportunities and tied for third in the Pacific Coast League in saves....Struck out 40 batters in 35.0 innings and walked 11 for a strikeout-to-walk ratio of 3.63....Yielded a career-high tying six home runs....Had a .216 opponents batting average, which broke down to .171 (21-for-123) with a .556 OPS against right-handed hitters compared to .319 (22-for-69) with a .994 OPS against left-handers....Opponents hit .295 with runners in scoring position and were 4-for-8 (.500) with a home run and three walks with the bases loaded....Allowed just 3-of-16 (18.7%) inherited runners to score…first batters faced were 9-for-29 (.310) with three walks....Posted a 1.93 ERA and .455 opponents OPS in 16 games at home, a 4.41 ERA and .881 OPS in 16 games on the road....Yielded a .134 average with two strikes...DAY-BY-DAY: Had a 4.15 ERA over his first eight games through April 27 but then had a 10-game, 11.0-inning Minor League scoreless streak from April 30 to June 20…did not allow a run in eight Minor League games (8.2 ip) in the month of May, converted all six of his save opportunities and stranded all eight of his inherited runners…had a 1.89 ERA, was 9-for-9 in save chances and stranded 11 of 12 inherited runners in 17 relief appearances when he was selected by Colorado on May 28…made his Major League debut May 29 at Washington (1.0 ip, 1 so)…entered the game to start the seventh inning with the Rockies trailing 6-3 and retired the side in order, fanning Riley Adams to end the inning for his first strikeout…was optioned to Albuquerque May 31 but returned the next day as an additional player…allowed a career-high six runs on a career-high five hits, two walks and a hit batter in an inning of work June 1 against Miami and was sent back to Albuquerque following the game…pitched just once June 7 against El Paso (1.0 ip, 2 bb) before he was called up to Colorado a third time June 12…made one appearance against the Guardians on June 15 (1.1 ip, 1 h, 1 r, 1 er, 2 bb, 1 so) and was optioned to Albuquerque June 19…extended his season-opening minor league streak of consecutive saves converted to 10 on June 23 against Las Vegas…would have just two saves in four chances over his final 12 games with the Isotopes…recalled by the Rockies on July 15 but did not pitch before he was sent down the next day…stint number five with Colorado began on Aug. 3 at San Diego when he had a career-high 37 pitches in a career-high 2.0 scoreless and hitless innings (1 bb, 3 so)…that would be his only appearance before he was sent down Aug. 6…did not pitch until Aug. 20 and had three more scoreless outings at Triple-A (3.0 ip) before he was recalled by Colorado on Sept. 1…spent the remainder of the season with the Rockies and logged a 5.68 ERA in 11 relief appearances…struck out a career-high four batters in 1.2 innings on Sept. 28 at San Francisco…issued a career-high three walks in 0.1 innings and was charged with the blown save in a 6-4 loss at Los Angeles (NL) on Oct. 1…allowed three runs on one hit in 1.1 innings for his only big league decision in a 6-1 loss at the Dodgers on Oct. 5.

Went 2-1 with a 2.97 ERA with Triple-A Albuquerque.

2020

Did not pitch due to the COVID-19 pandemic... Was traded to Colorado in exchange for RHP Jesus Tinoco, Aug. 14.

2019

Combined to go 3-2 with six saves, a 4.54 ERA (41.2 IP, 21 ER), 24 walks and 46 strike outs across 34 games for High-A Jupiter and Double-A Jacksonville...Saw his first Double-A action with Jacksonville after being assigned there June 30 … went 2-1 with a 4.42 ERA (18.1 IP, 9 ER), nine walks and 23 strikeouts across 14 relief appearances.
