2020

Was recalled from the Alternate Training Site prior to Game 2 of the doubleheader on 9/12 vs. OAK and made his Major League debut that night with a start at third base…singled off Yusmeiro Petit in the 7th inning for his 1st career MLB hit… started at first base on 9/17 at HOU at 21 years, 190 days of age, the youngest Ranger to ever start at the position (previous youngest: Adrian Gonzalez - 21.346 on 4/18/04 at SEA)…had 7 games/6 starts at 1B (4 GS) and 3B (2 GS)…recorded hits in each of his 1st 2 ML games at 2-for-7 before going 0-for-13 to finish the year...was placed on the 10-day IL on 9/27 (final day of reg. season), retroactive to 9/25, with lower back tightness… exited game on 9/24 vs. HOU in the 2nd inn. after sustaining the back injury at 3B while making a diving attempt at a Carlos Correa single…was the 1st player in club history to wear no. 82 in a regular season contest.

2019

Tabbed by Baseball America as the 16th-best prospect in the South Atlantic League…recovered from slow start at Hickory, .240/.311/.377/.688 (42-175) through 1st 49 G, to earn organization's internal June Player of the Month award after batting .297/.387/.688/1.074 (19-64)…was T4th among SAL leaders with 15 HR at the time of his promotion to Down East on 7/17...produced a 27-game on-base streak with the Wood Ducks from 7/25-8/27, batting .329/.476/.561/1.037 (27-82) with 4 HR and 22 BB/26 SO over that span...closed the season by slashing .286/.434/.488/.922 (24-84) in 27 G during August, ranking among Carolina League leaders for the month in OBP (2nd, .434), OPS (4th, .922) and HR (T5th, 4)…according to FanGraphs, Apostel's career-high 19 home runs matched Anderson Tejeda's 2018 output for the most single-season HR by a Rangers farmhand under the age of 21 since Joey Gallo hit 42 HR as a 20-year-old in 2014…career-best .935 fielding percentage in 108 starts at third base marked a significant improvement from 2018 output (.860) despite 149 additional chances…made 10 starts at first base for the Crawdads, his first time seeing action at a position other than third base as a pro.

2018

Combined to bat .278 (49-176) over 53 G in his 1st season stateside…spent majority of the campaign at Bristol (Pirates Rookie) and also logged time at Short-A Spokane after he was traded to Texas on 7/31…activated at Spokane on 8/20 and slashed .344/.432/.475/.907 (21-61) with 2 HR and 14 RBI over 18 total contests with the Indians, including 6 G in the Northwest League Playoffs…participated in the U-23 Baseball World Cup in Barranquilla, Colombia during the offseason where he led the Netherlands in batting average (.375), HR (2), RBI (9) and OPS (1.194).

2017

Named to the Dominican Summer League mid-season All-Star team, as well as Baseball America’s DSL Classification All-Star team...paced qualified Pirates minor leaguers and tied for the DSL lead with a 21.6% (56 BB/259 PA) walk percentage…ranked 2nd in the circuit in HR (9), RBI (48) and walks, and finished 5th in OPS (.917).
