2022

Played in 19 games for the Nationals and hit safely in seven. Had two multiple RBI games...Began the season with Rochester (AAA) and was recalled on July 1 to Washington. Was optioned on Aug. 22 and recalled for the final month of the season...Hit seven home runs over 55 Minor League games, his highest total since 2019 and 2017 when he hit eight in each of those seasons...Threw out 14% (12 CS/84 SB ATT) of attempted base stealers in Rochester and 14% (2 CS/14 SB ATT) in Washington.

2021

Made Washington’s Opening Day roster...In his first extended Major League action, hit .264 with three doubles, one triple, two homers, 10 RBI, 12 walks and eight runs scored in 30 games...From July 18-30, hit .351/.529/.514 in 11 games (10 starts)...Recorded his first Major League hit on July 4 vs. Los Angeles (NL), a single off Blake Treinen... Scored the game-winning run, in a walk-off win on July 18 vs. San Diego...On July 19 vs. Miami, clubbed his first career home run, a solo shot (Detwiler)...Recorded his second Major League homer on Aug. 24 at MIA (Luzardo).

2020

Was placed on the restricted list prior to the start of the 2020 season.

2019

Spent the majority of the season with Double-A Harrisburg where he hit .249 with 23 doubles, eight homers, 46 RBI, 36 walks and 42 runs scored in 101 games...He recorded a .323 on-base percentage and a .381 slugging percentage and threw out 29% (30- for-104) of would-be base stealers in 93 games (91 starts) behind the plate...Was named an Eastern League mid-season All-Star after hitting .321 (35-for-109) with nine doubles, two homers, 15 RBI, eight walks and 13 runs scored in the first 30 games of the season...Had his contract selected on Sept. 8 and made his Major League debut as a pinch hitter on Sept. 14 vs. Atlanta.

2018

Spent the entire season with Single-A Potomac...Threw out 25 of 51 (49%) would-be base stealers...Was named a Carolina League mid-season All-Star and an Organization All-Star by MLBPipeline.com following the season...Hit .255 (12-for-47) with two doubles, six RBI, one walk and five runs scored in 14 games for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League.
