Was a three-year letterman at Coppell High School in Coppell, Texas, a suburb of Dallas...Starred at the plate and on the mound for a Coppell team that was ranked No. 1 in the nation for the majority of the 2016 season...Garnered Louisville Slugger First Team All-American honors as a utility player his senior year...Also tabbed a 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American...Finished his high school career ranked as the top right-handed pitcher and the No. 8 overall prospect from the state of Texas in the class of 2016 by Perfect Game...Also rated the No. 3 right-handed pitcher nationally and the No. 103 overall prospect nationally by Perfect Game...Went undrafted out of high school and went on to attend Dallas Baptist for five years (2017-21), including the shortened 2020 campaign...Combined to post a 9-8 record with two saves and a 4.82 ERA (82ER/153IP) in 45 games including 26 starts in his career at Dallas Baptist...Again went undrafted out of college before signing as a non-drafted free agent with the Astros in July of 2021...Signed by Astros scout Jim Stevenson...Received his first career invitation to Major League Spring Training camp in 2024...Is signed to a Minor League contract for the 2024 season.

Combined to post a 3.99 ERA (21ER/47.1IP) in 16 games (11 starts) across three levels in the Astros minor league system in 2022...missed two months of action due to injury...spent the majority of his season at Class A Asheville, where he made 13 of his 16 appearances.
