Led Washington¡¯s Minor League system in batting average (.300), doubles (28), RBI (69), slugging percentage (.494), OPS (.840), hits (131), extra-base hits (48) and total bases (216) in 118 games with Triple-A Rochester en route to being named Washington¡¯s Minor League Player of the Year...His 17 home runs ranked second in the organization... Ranked third in the organization (8th in Triple-A East) with a 15.6% strikeout rate...His 48 extra-base hits and 28 doubles were career-highs and his 17 home runs matched the most he¡¯s hit in a season (2017)...From June 2 to July 30, he hit .360/.415/.606 with 13 doubles, three triples, eight homers, 31 RBI, 16 walks and 33 runs scored in 46 games.

Strong 2019 Spring Training led to his selection to the 2019 Opening Day roster...Drew a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the ninth inning on April 3 vs. Philadelphia to give Washington the walk-off, 9-8 victory...Recorded first Major League hit in first start on April 24 at Colorado, a double off German Marquez...Was optioned to Triple-A Fresno on May 11...Ranked fifth in Washington's system with 130 hits...Also ranked in runs (6th, 69), batting average (10th, .285) and total bases (10th, 187)...Finished the season hitting .319 (22-for-69) with five doubles, six RBI, two walks and 12 runs scored in his final 16 games.
2018
Named the recipient of the "Bob Boone" Award...Hit .291 with 20 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, 72 RBI, 33 walks, seven stolen bases and 82 runs scored in 132 games between Single-A Potomac and Double-A Harrisburg...His 72 RBI were the most in Washington's Minor League system, while his .291 batting average was good for eighth...He was named a Carolina League mid-season All-Star after ranking among league leaders in batting average (5th, .302), RBI (5th, 46) and hits (2nd, 80) during the season's first half...He was promoted to Harrisburg on June 21 and went on to hit .324 with five doubles, three homers, 16 RBI, seven walks, three stolen bases and 22 runs scored in his first 37 games with the Senators...Was named an Organization All-Star by MLBPipeline.com... Hit .265 (13-for-49) with two doubles, two homers, 14 RBI and six runs scored in 13 games for the Salt River Rafters of the Arizona Fall League.
