2021

Hit .209 with seven doubles, six homers and 15 RBI in 58 games in his second season with Arizona...Appeared in 21 games (16 starts) at second base, third base (2 G) and left field (1 G)...13 of his 19 hits went for extra bases (7 doubles and 6 home runs)... Played in 12 games in his first season with the D-backs, hitting .192 (5-for26) with 2 doubles, 1 home run and 4 RBI...Made his Major League debut on Aug. 1 vs. Dodgers (defensive replacement at second base)...Collected his first hit (double off Bryan Abreu) on Aug. 4 vs. Astros, becoming the 12th North Dakota-born player to collect a hit...Batted leadoff on Aug. 11 @ Rockies, the first D-backs rookie to do so within their first 6 career games since Adam Eaton in Sept. 2012...Underwent right hammate hook excision surgery on Sept. 15 (performed by Dr. Sheridan)...Hit his first home run on Aug. 9, 2020, @ Padres...His home run landed in the Padres’ bullpen and, after the game, San Diego reliever Matt Strahm, who hails from the same hometown as Young (West Fargo, N.D.), handed over the ball.

Combined to hit .271 AVG/.368 OBP/.535 SLG with 25 doubles, 5 triples, 29 home runs and 81 RBI in 133 games with Double-A Jackson and Triple-A Reno...Recorded 8 homers and 28 RBI in 65 games with Jackson and 21 homers and 53 RBI in 68 games with Reno.

2018

Combined to hit .289 AVG/.379 OBP/.479 SLG with 13 doubles, 3 triples, 21 home runs and 58 RBI in 119 games with Single-A Adv. Palm Beach and Double-A Springfield...Named to the Florida State League midseason All-Star Team and participated in the Home Run Derby… earned Texas League Player of the Week honors for July 23-29.

2017

Played in three levels of the Cardinals' organization and hit .278 AVG/.359 OBP/.471 SLG with 17 home runs and 59 RBI in 117 games with Single-A Peoria (58 G), Single-A Adv. Palm Beach (57 G) and Double-A Springfield (2 G)...Named to the Midwest League midseason All-Star Team.
