In 48 appearances between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso, posted a 3.72 ERA (23 ER, 55.2 IP) with a .173 opponent average and 1.11 WHIP...Held left-handed hitters to a .513 OPS...lefties slashed .136/.240/.273, while righties had a .727 OPS...Began the season with the Missions, posting a 2.45 ERA across 20 appearances and 25.2 innings of work before being promoted to Triple-A on June 28...In his 30.0 IP and 28 app. for the Chihuahuas, posted a 4.80 ERA and 43 strikeouts against 15 walks...opponents hit .200 against him at the Triple-A level, and lefties hit just .156...On Nov. 15, 2022, was selected to the Padres' 40-man roster, protecting him in the Rule 5 Draft that took place on December 7th at the Winter Meetings in San Diego.

After losing all of 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he returned to action as a reliever in 2021, striking out 32 batters over 26.2 innings (2.36 ERA) at Double-A San Antonio...Made 22 appearances for the Missions (all in relief), posting a 0.98 WHIP and holding opponents to just .192 average (19-for-99)...Allowed multiple runs in just 2 of his 22 outings.
2020
Did not pitch competitively in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic and did not appear on the club's 60-man player pool at their Alternate Training Site.
2019
Underwent Tommy John surgery in Sept. of 2019... prior to his surgery, began the season with Single-A Lake Elsinore, and he pitched in six games with a 6.21 ERA in 29.0 innings before landing on the 7-day Injured List on May 9... was sent to Rookie-League AZL Padres 1 and 2 for his rehab assignment on Aug.6 before reinstating him from the IL on Sept.16.
2018
Spent the entire 2018 season in Single-A Fort Wayne and started 21 of the 24 games in which he played...posted a 3.71 ERA on the season in 116.1 IP, and opponents hit .276.
2017
In his 1st professional season in 2017, began the year with the AZL Padres for two games before being assigned to Single-A Tri-City, where he owned a 3.48 ERA (22 ER, 41.1 IP) in 11 appearances (six starts).
