WILLIAM DANIEL BRENNAN...Was All-Big 12 his sophomore season at Kansas State after batting .359/.882 OPS with 49 runs in 54 games...Overall over his three years batted .332 with 34 2B, 2 3B, 4 HR and 82 RBI in 162 games (123 runs, 40 SB)...Also appeared in 28 games on the mound (13GS), tossing 82.2 innings...Was the hardest batter in the Big 12 to strikeout all three years...Kinesiology major at K-State...Attended Blue Valley High School in Stilwell, Kansas and was 2016 6A Kansas Co-Player of the Year...2015-16 First Team All-State (OF)...Father, Dan, is the only general manager of the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team based out of Colorado Springs, Colo. after the team was founded in 2006 (the U.S. team has won gold in four straight games since 2010).

Spent first full season in the Majors, making starts at all three OF positions...Batted .183 (13-for-71) over his first 28 games thru May 7 before hitting .280 (102-for-364) the rest of the way...After Aug. 21 he batted .320 (31-for-97) with 11 RS over his last 30 games...Hit .303 in Sept/Oct. (23-for-76, 4 2B, 6 RBI, 24 games)...Fanned just 17 times over his last 172 plate appearances and was in the 95th-percentile in K% (12.6%) of PA...His expected average of .281 was in the 88th percentile in MLB...Made 89 starts in RF, 11 starts in CF and seven in LF (3 DH)...Four Def. Runs Saved in RF...Had two game-tying hits after the eighth inning, April 9 vs. Seattle, first time since at least 1961 a Cleveland batter has done so...Hit .336 (50-for-149) vs. AL Central...2023 AL Rookie Ranks: 2B (T4th, 24), hits (fifth, 113).

2022

Split year between AA Akron and AAA Columbus before being promoted on Sept. 21, making his Major League debut in Chicago(AL)… Slashed .314/.371/.479 (166-for-528) with 40 2B, four 3B, 13 HR, 107 RBI, 50 BB and 20 SB over 129 games between AA Akron and AAA Columbus in 2022…At the time of 9/21 promotion was leading all of Minor League Baseball in hits (166) while ranking tied for second in doubles (40) and fifth in RBI (107)…Was not listed among the club's top-30 prospects entering the 2022 season...After being promoted to AAA Columbus on May 26 (until 9/21), he ranked among the Int’l League leaders in hits (first, 123), doubles (first, 28), total bases (first, 28), RBI (second, 68) and batting average (third, .317), leading the system in average, RBI, hits, total bases (253) and doubles for the campaign... Made double-digit starts across all three outfield positions between Akron and Columbus and started games at all three OF positions for Cleveland…With Cleveland he hit in 10 of 11 games, notching first hit on 9/21 at CWS and hit first HR on 10/2 vs. his hometown KC Royals…After concluding his Triple-A stint with a 13-game hit streak he hit in 23 of his last 24 overall games…Was on both Postseason rosters, appearing in five overall games.
