Ryan Michael Ritter…son of Ken and Maureen…oldest of seven children...Played at John A. Logan College (Ill.) in 2020 before transferring to the University of Kentucky…in two seasons with the Wildcats (2021-22), slashed .280/.350/.423 across 111 games with 19 doubles, three triples, 11 home runs and 56 RBI...Won the ABCA Rawlings Gold Glove award at shortstop his junior year in 2022, the sixth player in school history to win a Gold Glove award…was also named to the Southeastern Conference All-Defensive Team...Was a three-sport athlete at Lincoln-Way East High School (Ill.), playing baseball, basketball and football...As a senior in 2019, batted .429 with 13 doubles, three triples, four home runs, 41 runs and a .724 slugging percentage.

2023

Named the California League MVP while also earning Post-Season and MiLB.com Organization All-Star honors...Played 65 games with Single-A Fresno and slashed .305/.405/.606 with 14 doubles, three triples, 18 home runs and 58 RBI…tied for second in home runs in the California League...Promoted to High-A Spokane on July 3 and appeared in 46 games with the Indians, slashing .265/.367/.441 with 10 doubles, one triple and six home runs...Assigned to Double-A Hartford on Sept. 6 and went 4-for-25 (4-for-25) across eight games.

2022

Made his professional debut with the ACL Rockies and went 8-for-25 (.320) over eight games with four doubles, one triple, one home run and four RBI … logged a 1.094 OPS.
