Appeared in 2 games, April 16-17, but did not record an at-bat for the Orioles...Played an inning in CF in each game...Was sent to extended spring training in Sarasota after suffering a strained right forearm in the final week of spring training...Started the season on the AAA Norfolk roster but did not appear in a game before he was recalled by the Orioles on April 16...Was optioned to Norfolk the last week of spring training after batting .278 (5-18) in 14 spring training games for the Orioles...Batted .270 in 78 games for Norfolk, with 20 multi-hit games, 18 extra-base hits and 17 stolen bases.
2006
Spent most of the season at AAA Pawtucket...Was acquired by the Orioles following the season in exchange for cash considerations, a deal which followed the O's August 4 trade of C Javy Lopez to the Sox for cash considerations as well...Began the season with Boston before being optioned to Pawtucket on April 20...Needed to stay on the major league roster through April 19 to fulfill Rule 5 obligations after being selected from Atlanta in the Major League Rule 5 Draft in December 2004...Batted .150 (2-20) in 10 games with the Red Sox...Tied for 9th in the International League with 23 stolen bases despite missing the first three weeks of the season and spending the last three weeks of the season on the disabled list with a hamstring injury...Hit safely in 30 of his last 39 games for Pawtucket, batting .289 (48-166) with 9 2B, 2 3B, 3 HR and 15 RBI...Went 10-for-19 in a 4-game series vs. the Orioles' Ottawa affiliate, June 26-29...Had 4 hits, including 2 homers, vs. Ottawa on June 27, the first multi-homer game of his pro career...Was also one of 2 games in which he had 4 RBI, the other coming June 10 vs. Richmond...His last home run came on July 27 at Toledo off Bobby Seay...Was placed on the disabled list on August 16 with a hamstring injury...Was moved to the 60-day DL on August 28...Had a 10-game hitting streak, June 6-15, batting .304 (14-46) with 2 home runs and 5 RBI...Played for Canada in the World Baseball Classic, leading all qualifying batters with a .667 average (6- 9)...Had a 2B, 3B, HR and 5 RBI...Went 3-for-4 with 4 RBI in Canada's 8-6 win over Team USA, including an inside-the-park home run.

Was required to stay on Boston's major league roster for entire season after being a Rule 5 selection from Atlanta the previous December, although he spent 3 different stints at AAA Pawtucket on injury rehabilitation assignment...Was limited to 56 games with Boston and Pawtucket because of thumb, shoulder and hamstring injuries...Began the season on the 15-day disabled list after suffering a fractured right thumb in spring training...Had 2 separate minor league rehab stints with Pawtucket starting in May...After going 0-3 in his PawSox debut on 5/26, put together a 16-game hitting streak (23-69, .333)...The streak ended in his last game before being activated by Boston on 7/7...Returned to the DL on 8/20 after spraining the thumb and played 5 games on a rehab stint with Pawtucket before being reactivated by Boston on 9/4...Finally underwent season-ending shoulder surgery on September 27, forcing him to begin 2006 season on major league roster.
2004
Was the Braves' Double-A Player of the Year at Greenville, where he hit .322 with 64 runs, 26 doubles and 27 stolen bases in 102 games...started in left field for the Southern League's Eastern Division All-Star team, and was named an outfielder on the league's year-end All-Star club...ranked 3rd in the league in hitting, 8th with a .378 onbase percentage and 9th with a .480 slugging percentage...his 27 steals were 3rd-most in the Braves system...missed 26 games to play for Team Canada at the Olympic Games in Athens, where he hit .250 (8-for-32) with 4 RBI and 6 runs in 9 contests...had 41 multi-hit games in 99 starts for the G-Braves...cranked out a career-best 16-game hitting streak June 27-July 16, batting .397 (27-for-68)...scored 23 runs in 23 games June 5-July 3...tripled home the winning run April 16 vs. Chattanooga, capping a 3-run 9th for a 5-4 victory, Greenville's first of the year after an 0-7 start...batted .409 (9-for- 22) with 5 doubles and 8 runs in 6 September contests before making the jump to Triple- A Richmond for the International League playoffs...went 10-for-28 (.357) with 3 doubles, a homer and 3 RBI in 9 games, including 6 starts in the leadoff spot...in Game 1 of Richmond's semi-final series vs. Columbus, doubled home the winning run in the top of the 13th for a 2-1 win.
2003
Missed the season's first 4 months with an injured right hamstring before joining the Gulf Coast League Braves...batted .345 with a homer and 6 RBI in 7 games before a promotion to Single-A Myrtle Beach, where he hit .194 in 28 games...after stealing just one base in his first 15 Carolina League games, swiped 6 bags over his final 13 contests.
2002
Led Single-A Myrtle Beach and ranked 4th in the Carolina League with 40 stolen bases...hit .253 with 22 doubles, 10 triples and 65 runs scored...batted .321 (34-for-106) in 25 July contests...had a career-high 3 steals June 6 at Kinston and July 2 at Frederick...swiped 8 bags over his last 8 games August 25-September 2.
2001
Hit .307 with 9 stolen bases and 20 runs scored in 21 games with short-season Single-A Jamestown...went 8-for-15 (.533) with 6 runs scored in his first 4 professional games...recorded a 10-game hitting streak August 24-September 4.
