Is a member of Cherokee Nation...Grew up speaking some Cherokee in school...Is married to his wife, Megan, together they have an infant son named Ronald... His cousin, Bob Davis, was a Major League catcher from 1973-81 with San Diego and California between 1973-1981...Enjoys hunting, fishing and video games.

2023

Pitched to an 8-5 record with a 4.12 ERA (51 ER/111.1 IP), tallying 96 strikeouts and 34 walks in 23 games (21 starts) and posted a 3.99 FIP... Missed time with two stints on the injured list...His season debut was delayed after suffering a groin injury which sidelined him until May...Missed time again from Aug. 28-Sept. 13 (right elbow effusion)...Tied his career-high after striking out 10 batters on July 22 vs. Atlanta.

2022

Went 6-10 with a 4.73 ERA in 22 games (21 starts) with Milwaukee... The team went 9-12 in his starts.....produced six quality starts... Posted a 2.98 ERA over his first eight starts (42.1ip, 14er) and a 6.17 ERA over his last 13 starts (58.1ip, 40er)... Was on the 15-day injured list from 7/1-8/23 with a right flexor strain and from 9/28 through the remainder of the season with a right groin strain... Went 0-0 with a 3.29 ERA in seven relief appearances with Milwaukee... Had five stints with the team (4/6-4/8, 5/25-5/26, 6/17-6/27, 7/12 and 8/10)... Combined to go 2-4 with a 5.03 ERA in 21 starts between Double-A Biloxi (8gs) and Triple-A Colorado Springs (13gs).

2017

Combined to go 1-1 with a 1.02 ERA in 9 games (8 starts) between Rookie Arizona and Class-A Wisconsin as he recovered from "Tommy John" surgery... Began his season on rehab assignment at Arizona and went 0-1 with a 1.04 ERA in 6 starts... Was reinstated from the Double-A Biloxi disabled list and transferred on 8/23 to Wisconsin, where he went 1-0 with a 1.00 ERA in 3 games (2 starts)... Following the season pitched for the Salt River Rafters in the Arizona Fall League and went 1-1 with a 3.38 ERA in 4 starts (10.2ip, 13h, 5r, 4er, 2bb, 11k)

2016

Went 3-7 with a 5.25 ERA in 13 starts at Double-A Biloxi...Did not start after 6/23 ...underwent "Tommy John" surgery on his right elbow on 7/21, performed by Dr. William Raasch.

2015

Began the season in the Astros organization, where he went 3-4 with a 5.10 ERA in 19 games (13 starts) between Class-A Lancaster (12g/8gs) and Double-A Corpus Christi (7g/5gs)…Was traded to Milwaukee as part of a six-player deal on 7/30…Went 4-1 with a 2.92 ERA in 7 starts at Double-A Biloxi...threw a shutout in the first round of the Southern League playoffs, earning a 6-0 victory on 9/11 vs. Pensacola (9ip, 3h, 0bb, 10k)…Contract was selected by Milwaukee on 9/22…Made 2 scoreless relief appearances with the Brewers…His Major League debut came on 9/26 at St. Louis (1ip, 1h, 1bb)…His other appearance with Milwaukee came on 10/2 vs. Chicago-NL (1ip, 1bb)…Following the season pitched for the Surprise Saguaros in the Arizona Fall League and went 2-2 with a 3.51 ERA in 7 starts (25.2ip, 26h, 10r, 10er, 10bb, 19k, .271ba).
