Split the season between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A El Paso, setting minor league career bests in starts (22), innings pitched (125.0), strikeouts (122) and opponents batting average (.243)¡was named an Organization All-Star by MiLB.com¡made 17 appearances, including 13 starts, for San Antonio, going 7-3 with a 2.43 ERA¡struck out 83 in 80.2 innings and walked 24 while holding opponents to a .215 average¡earned Double-A Central Pitcher of the Month honors in July, going 4-0 with a 0.32 ERA and a .168 opponents batting average¡was named Double-A Central Pitcher of the Week July 4¡was promoted to El Paso on Aug. 14 and made nine appearances, all starts¡reached the 5.0 inning mark in six of those outings and allowed two earned runs or fewer five times¡struck out a career-high-tying 10 batters with two walks across 6.0 innings in his penultimate start of the season on Sept. 25 vs. Sugar Land.
